एसजेवीएन के 1500 मेगावॉट नाथपा झाकड़ी हाइड्रो पावर स्टेशन में 79वां स्वतंत्रता दिवस हर्ष और उल्लास के साथ मनाया गया। मुख्य अतिथि एवं परियोजना प्रमुख श्री आशुतोष बहुगुणा ने स्थानीय खेल मैदान में राष्ट्रीय ध्वज फहराया और स्वतंत्रता संग्राम में शहीद हुए वीरों को श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की।
इस अवसर पर केन्द्रीय औद्योगिक सुरक्षा बल, हिमपेस्कों के जवानों तथा डीपीएस-एनसीसी छात्रों ने शानदार मार्चपास्ट कर तिरंगे को सलामी दी। इसके बाद एसजेवीएन गीत को सामूहिक स्वर में गाया गया।
कार्यक्रम में अधिकारियों, कर्मचारियों व उनके परिजनों ने देशभक्ति गीत प्रतियोगिता में उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया। कुल 7 टीमों ने अपने सुरों के माध्यम से भारत की गौरवशाली गाथा और उज्ज्वल भविष्य का चित्रण किया। निर्णायकों ने प्रस्तुति, भाव और संगीत के आधार पर मूल्यांकन किया तथा विजेताओं को सम्मानित किया गया।
परियोजना प्रमुख ने प्रतिभागियों की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि ऐसे आयोजन सांस्कृतिक जुड़ाव को प्रगाढ़ करने के साथ-साथ राष्ट्रप्रेम की भावना को भी प्रज्वलित करते हैं।
79th Independence Day celebrated at Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Station

The 1500 MW Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Station of SJVN celebrated the 79th Independence Day with great enthusiasm. Chief Guest and Project Head, Mr. Ashutosh Bahuguna, hoisted the National Flag at the local ground and paid tribute to the martyrs of India’s freedom struggle.
On this occasion, the Central Industrial Security Force, HimpeSco jawans, and DPS-NCC students presented a march past, saluting the tricolor. The SJVN song was sung in chorus, spreading the spirit of unity and patriotism.
A patriotic song competition was also organized, where seven teams comprising employees and their families presented heartfelt performances. Their songs highlighted India’s glorious past, present achievements, and aspirations for a bright future. Winners were felicitated by the Project Head.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Bahuguna appreciated the participants and emphasized that such programs strengthen cultural bonds while keeping the flame of patriotism alive.
