चंबा आपदा पर बयान देते मुख्यमंत्री, विपक्ष ने साधा निशाना।
हिमाचल प्रदेश विधानसभा का मानसून सत्र इन दिनों गर्मा गया है। आपदा के मुद्दे पर नेता प्रतिपक्ष जयराम ठाकुर ने मुख्यमंत्री और सरकार पर तीखा हमला बोला है। जयराम ठाकुर ने आरोप लगाया कि जब प्रदेश आपदा से जूझ रहा था, तब मुख्यमंत्री चार दिन तक सदन से अनुपस्थित रहे और बिहार में राजनीतिक कार्यक्रमों में शामिल हो रहे थे। उन्होंने कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री ने सदन में जो आंकड़े दिए, वे उपमुख्यमंत्री के आंकड़ों से मेल नहीं खाते। चंबा में आपदा से हालात बेहद खराब हैं और बड़ी संख्या में श्रद्धालु फंसे रहे।
जयराम ठाकुर ने कहा कि सरकार ने राहत कार्यों की बजाय राजनीतिक लाभ लेने पर जोर दिया। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि चंबा में आर्मी हेलीकॉप्टर तक का रिक्विज़िशन समय पर नहीं किया गया। विपक्ष ने साफ किया कि वे विधानसभा का सत्र तीन दिन बढ़ाने के पक्ष में नहीं हैं और उनकी प्राथमिकता आपदा प्रभावित क्षेत्रों में राहत पहुंचाना है।
The ongoing Monsoon Session of the Himachal Pradesh Assembly has turned stormy with Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur strongly criticizing the Chief Minister and the government. Jairam alleged that while the state was facing a severe disaster, the Chief Minister remained absent from the Assembly for four days and attended political events in Bihar instead. He further stated that the figures presented by the Chief Minister in the House did not match those shared by the Deputy Chief Minister.
Highlighting the dire situation in Chamba, Jairam said thousands of devotees were stranded during the Manimahesh Yatra but the government failed to make timely arrangements, including the requisition of Army helicopters. He accused the government of attempting to gain political mileage rather than focusing on relief measures.
The Opposition has opposed the proposal to extend the session by three more days, stating that their priority is providing relief to disaster-affected regions rather than political debates inside the Assembly.
