हिमाचल प्रदेश की समृद्ध परंपराओं और संस्कृति को संजोए हुए टियालू मेला रविवार को सम्पन्न हो गया। मेले के बाद मेला कमेटी ने विशेष सफाई अभियान चलाया, जिसके तहत न केवल मेला स्थल बल्कि आसपास के जंगलों से भी प्लास्टिक और अन्य कचरा एकत्रित किया गया।
हिमाचल में लगने वाले मेले हमेशा से लोगों की संस्कृति, रीति-रिवाज और खान-पान की झलक प्रस्तुत करते हैं। इस बार भी मेले में आयोजित सांस्कृतिक संध्या में स्थानीय और बाहर से आए कलाकारों ने अपनी शानदार प्रस्तुतियां दीं, जिसने आयोजन को और भी खास बना दिया।
मेला कमेटी के अध्यक्ष दिनेश कपूर ने कहा कि भारी बरसात के बावजूद मेले को सफल बनाने में प्रशासन, नगर निगम, पुलिस, विद्युत और जल शक्ति विभाग का महत्वपूर्ण सहयोग रहा। उन्होंने बाहर से आए कलाकारों का भी धन्यवाद किया।
सफाई अभियान में मेला कमेटी के सदस्यों के साथ-साथ व्यापार मंडल और वेस्ट वॉरियर समिति के कार्यकर्ताओं ने भी सक्रिय भागीदारी निभाई। इस अभियान ने स्वच्छता और सामूहिक जिम्मेदारी का सशक्त संदेश दिया।

The traditional Tiyalu Fair of Himachal Pradesh concluded on Sunday, leaving behind a strong message of culture and cleanliness. After the fair, the organizing committee launched a special cleanliness drive, which included collecting plastic and other waste not only from the fairground but also from the nearby forests.
Himachal’s fairs are known for showcasing the state’s unique traditions, local food, and cultural performances. This year, despite heavy rains, the cultural evening was a grand success as both local and outside artists delivered memorable performances.
Dinesh Kapoor, the chairman of the fair committee, thanked the administration, Municipal Corporation, Police, Electricity, and Jal Shakti departments for their support in making the event successful. He also expressed gratitude to the guest artists whose performances added charm to the fair.
Members of the fair committee, the local trade association, and volunteers from the Waste Warriors Committee actively participated in the cleanliness drive. The initiative highlighted the importance of collective responsibility towards keeping cultural events eco-friendly and clean.
