उपायुक्त मंडी अपूर्व देवगन के आदेश पर जिला प्रशासन ने आपदा प्रभावित क्षेत्रों में राहत पहुंचाने की दिशा में बड़ी सफलता हासिल की है। शनिवार को खाद्य एवं नागरिक आपूर्ति विभाग ने शरन, बालु, गड़ागुशैणी और निसैणी डिपुओं तक आवश्यक राशन पहुँचाया।
यह कार्य बेहद चुनौतीपूर्ण परिस्थितियों में पूरा हुआ। जहाँ सड़कें भूस्खलन और मलबे से पूरी तरह क्षतिग्रस्त थीं, वहाँ जेसीबी मशीनों की मदद से रास्ता दुरुस्त कर गाड़ियों को आगे बढ़ाया गया। कई बार वाहन फंसने पर मशीनों ने धक्का लगाकर या खींचकर उन्हें सुरक्षित पार कराया।
डीसी ने बताया कि जिले के कुल 850 डिपुओं में से 844 में पहले ही राशन पहुँचा दिया गया था और अब इन शेष चार डिपुओं तक भी आपूर्ति सुनिश्चित कर दी गई है। स्थानीय निवासियों ने इस पहल पर प्रदेश सरकार और प्रशासन का आभार जताया।
प्रशासन का कहना है कि आपदा से कटे इन क्षेत्रों में अब नियमित रूप से खाद्यान्न आपूर्ति जारी रखी जाएगी ताकि लोगों को किसी भी तरह की असुविधा न हो।

In a major relief for disaster-affected families, the Food and Civil Supplies Department, under the directions of Deputy Commissioner Apoorv Devgan, successfully delivered ration to the remote depots of Sharan, Balu, Gadagusheini, and Nisaini.
These areas had been completely cut off due to landslides and damaged roads, making even pedestrian access extremely difficult. With the help of JCB machines, the administration cleared debris and repaired stretches to move supply vehicles forward. In several instances, stuck vehicles had to be pushed or pulled with heavy machinery to ensure delivery.
The DC informed that out of 850 depots in the district, 844 had already been supplied earlier, and now ration has also reached the remaining four depots.
Local residents expressed gratitude towards the state government and district administration for ensuring timely delivery despite such harsh conditions. Authorities assured that regular ration supply will continue in these disaster-hit regions.
