ऊना जिले में लगातार हो रही भारी बारिश के चलते जिला दंडाधिकारी एवं जिला आपदा प्रबंधन प्राधिकरण ऊना के अध्यक्ष जतिन लाल ने सोमवार को महत्वपूर्ण आदेश जारी किए। उन्होंने कहा कि 1 सितम्बर को शिक्षकों और विद्यालय स्टाफ को भी स्कूल और शैक्षणिक संस्थानों में उपस्थिति से छूट दी जाती है। इस दौरान शिक्षकों को निर्देश दिया गया है कि वे विद्यार्थियों की पढ़ाई बाधित न हो, इसके लिए ऑनलाइन माध्यम से कक्षाएं संचालित करें।
गौरतलब है कि 1 सितम्बर को पहले ही विद्यार्थियों के लिए जिले के सभी सरकारी और निजी शिक्षण संस्थान बंद रखने के आदेश जारी किए गए थे। इसमें स्कूल, कॉलेज, आईटीआई, वोकेशनल ट्रेनिंग सेंटर और आंगनवाड़ी केंद्र शामिल हैं।
उपायुक्त ने बताया कि भारतीय मौसम विभाग, शिमला ने ऊना जिले के लिए भारी वर्षा का अलर्ट जारी किया है। बारिश से जलभराव, भूस्खलन और फ्लैश फ्लड जैसी परिस्थितियां उत्पन्न हो गई हैं, जिससे विद्यार्थियों, शिक्षकों और स्टाफ का आवागमन असुरक्षित हो सकता है। प्रशासन ने अपील की है कि लोग सतर्क रहें और किसी भी आपात स्थिति में 1077 पर संपर्क करें।

Due to continuous heavy rainfall in Una district, Deputy Commissioner and Chairman of District Disaster Management Authority, Jatin Lal, issued fresh orders on Monday. He announced that on September 1, teachers and school staff have also been exempted from attending educational institutions physically. However, teachers have been instructed to continue academic activities through online classes to ensure that students’ learning is not disrupted.
It is worth mentioning that the district administration had already ordered the closure of all government and private educational institutions for students on the same day. This includes schools, colleges, ITIs, vocational training centers, and Anganwadi centers.
The DC further informed that the India Meteorological Department, Shimla, has issued a heavy rainfall alert for Una. Continuous rain has created conditions of waterlogging, landslides, and flash floods in several parts of the district, making commuting unsafe for students, teachers, and staff. The administration has appealed to residents to stay safe at home and strictly follow all advisories. In case of emergencies, people can call the disaster helpline number 1077.
