कुल्लू जिला प्रशासन ने आपदा प्रभावित और सड़क मार्ग से कटे हुए बंजार, श्रीकोट और निहारनी जैसे दुर्गम क्षेत्रों में शनिवार को बड़ी राहत पहुंचाई। उपायुक्त तोरुल एस. रवीश ने बताया कि भारतीय वायु सेना के एमआई-17 हेलीकॉप्टर की मदद से यहां 78 क्विंटल राशन सामग्री का एयर ड्रॉप किया गया।
उन्होंने कहा कि प्रशासन लगातार यह सुनिश्चित करने में जुटा है कि किसी भी परिवार को खाद्यान्न की कमी से जूझना न पड़े। जिन क्षेत्रों से कमी की सूचना मिल रही है, वहां को प्राथमिकता पर राहत पहुंचाई जा रही है।
हवाई मार्ग से पहुंचाई गई किटों में आटा, चावल, दालें और तिरपाल शामिल हैं, ताकि प्रभावित लोग अपनी दैनिक जरूरतें पूरी कर सकें। उपायुक्त ने बताया कि प्रशासन की प्राथमिकता सड़कों से कटे हुए गांवों तक शीघ्र राहत पहुंचाना है। इसके लिए वायु सेना की सहायता ली जा रही है और प्रयास जारी रहेंगे।

The Kullu district administration has taken a major step to support flood and landslide-affected areas cut off from road connectivity. On Saturday, 78 quintals of ration supplies were air-dropped by an Indian Air Force MI-17 helicopter in remote villages including Banjar, Shrikot, and Niharni.
Deputy Commissioner Toral S. Ravish informed that the administration is prioritizing all locations reporting food shortages. The air-dropped relief kits contained flour, rice, pulses, and tarpaulins to help families meet their essential needs.
He further assured that no household in Kullu will face food scarcity. The administration’s main focus remains on delivering relief swiftly to road-blocked villages. For this, continuous cooperation is being sought from the Air Force.
Locals expressed gratitude towards the district administration and the state government for ensuring timely support during this crisis. Relief operations are ongoing and will continue until all affected families are fully supported.
