चंडीगढ़, 19 अगस्त – गवर्नमेंट कॉलेज ऑफ़ एजुकेशन, सेक्टर 20डी, चंडीगढ़ में बी.एड. और पीजीडीजी एंड सी पाठ्यक्रमों में दाखिला लेने वाले नए छात्रों के लिए एक विशेष ओरिएंटेशन प्रोग्राम आयोजित किया गया। कार्यक्रम में मुख्य अतिथि स्वामी भितिहरानंद जी महाराज ने छात्रों को जीवन में संतुलन और सही निर्णय की अहमियत समझाई। उन्होंने महाभारत के अर्जुन और श्रीकृष्ण प्रसंग का उदाहरण देते हुए बताया कि कैसे सही मार्गदर्शन से भ्रम दूर कर सफलता पाई जा सकती है।
कॉलेज की प्राचार्य डॉ. (श्रीमती) सपना नंदा ने नए छात्रों को “भावी शिक्षक” कहकर स्वागत किया और कहा कि शिक्षण केवल पेशा नहीं बल्कि एक जिम्मेदारी है, जिसे निष्ठा और करुणा के साथ निभाना होता है। संकाय ने छात्रों को कॉलेज की सुविधाओं, गतिविधियों और अवसरों की जानकारी दी। कार्यक्रम का संचालन डॉ. लीलू राम के निर्देशन में हुआ। छात्रों ने उत्साह और उमंग के साथ अपनी नई यात्रा की शुरुआत की।

The chief guest, Swami Bhitiharanand Ji Maharaj, emphasized the importance of balance in life and making the right choices. Referring to the teachings of Mahabharata, he explained how Arjuna overcame his doubts with Lord Krishna’s guidance, urging students to adopt similar wisdom in their lives.
Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Sapna Nanda warmly welcomed the newcomers as “future teachers” and highlighted that teaching is not just a profession but a responsibility that requires dedication and compassion. Faculty members introduced the academic schedule, facilities, and extracurricular opportunities of the college. The event, directed by Dr. Leelu Ram, concluded with students expressing excitement and motivation for their journey ahead as aspiring educators.
