भाजपा ने मुख्यमंत्री सुखविंदर सिंह सुक्खू के हालिया बयानों को भ्रामक और तथ्यों से परे बताते हुए उन पर कड़ा प्रहार किया है। भाजपा जिला अध्यक्ष राकेश ठाकुर, मीडिया प्रभारी विक्रमजीत सिंह बन्याल और जिला उपाध्यक्ष जगन कटोच ने संयुक्त बयान जारी कर कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री जनता को गुमराह कर रहे हैं।
उन्होंने कहा कि पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री और सांसद अनुराग ठाकुर पहले ही केंद्र सरकार की ओर से उपलब्ध कराए गए आपदा राहत बजट का विस्तृत श्वेत पत्र जारी कर चुके हैं। इसके बावजूद मुख्यमंत्री लगातार असत्य बयान दे रहे हैं। भाजपा नेताओं ने चुनौती दी कि यदि राज्य सरकार वास्तव में पारदर्शिता चाहती है तो अपना श्वेत पत्र भी सार्वजनिक करे।
भाजपा ने मुख्यमंत्री के इस दावे को भी खारिज किया कि राज्य सरकार ने आपदा राहत कोष में 25% से अधिक खर्च किया है। नेताओं का कहना है कि ऐसे दावे बिना सबूत केवल जिम्मेदारी से बचने का प्रयास हैं।
प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के 9 सितंबर को प्रस्तावित कांगड़ा दौरे पर प्रतिक्रिया देते हुए भाजपा ने कहा कि आपदा प्रभावितों की पीड़ा को केंद्र तक पहुँचाना मुख्यमंत्री का पहला कर्तव्य था। लेकिन मुख्यमंत्री समय रहते ठोस पहल करने के बजाय “मतदाता अधिकार यात्रा” जैसे राजनीतिक कार्यक्रमों में व्यस्त रहे।
जीएसटी सुधारों पर भी भाजपा ने मुख्यमंत्री को घेरा और कहा कि जीएसटी ने पारदर्शिता और कर प्रणाली को सरल बनाया है। भाजपा नेताओं के अनुसार, मुख्यमंत्री का बयान तथ्यों से परे और राजनीतिक भटकाव मात्र है।

The BJP strongly criticized Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu’s recent statements, calling them misleading and factually incorrect. BJP District President Rakesh Thakur, Media In-charge Vikramjeet Singh Banyal, and Vice President Jagan Katoch said that CM Sukhu is attempting to mislead the people instead of presenting facts.
They said that Union Minister Anurag Thakur had already issued a detailed white paper on the central government’s disaster relief budget. Despite this, the CM continues to make false claims. BJP challenged the state government to release its own white paper if it truly believes in transparency.
On CM’s claim that the state has spent over 25% from its relief fund, BJP said such unverified claims are nothing but an attempt to avoid accountability.
Reacting to the CM’s statement that he will present a detailed damage report during PM Modi’s Kangra visit on September 9, BJP said the CM has failed in his responsibility. “Instead of wasting time in political programs like the so-called Voter Rights Yatra, he should have taken the matter to the Centre earlier,” BJP leaders said.
They also dismissed the CM’s remarks on GST reforms, saying the reforms brought transparency, simplicity in taxation, and public benefit. According to BJP leaders, the CM’s statements are politically motivated and baseless.
