भारी बारिश से प्रभावित क्षेत्रों का दौरा करते हुए पूर्व खाद्य आपूर्ति मंत्री राजेंद्र गर्ग ने डुमेहर, बाड़ी चौक, कोट (बहाल), रूडानी, दधोल, चकराना और मरहाना पंचायत के गांवों की स्थिति देखी। प्रभावित परिवारों से मिलकर उन्होंने उनका दुःख-दर्द साझा किया और कहा कि कई लोगों ने घर, सामान और जीविका के साधन खो दिए हैं। अनेक परिवार अस्थायी शरण में जीवन बिता रहे हैं।
गर्ग ने प्रशासन पर नाराजगी जाहिर करते हुए कहा कि अब तक राहत कार्य सही ढंग से शुरू नहीं हो पाए हैं, जिससे लोगों की मुश्किलें बढ़ गई हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि लगातार हो रही बारिश से कई घर बह गए हैं और अनेक मकान भूस्खलन की चपेट में आकर क्षतिग्रस्त हो चुके हैं।
उन्होंने सरकार और प्रशासन से मांग की कि प्रभावित परिवारों को तत्काल खाद्य सामग्री, चिकित्सीय सुविधा, अस्थायी आश्रय और आर्थिक मदद उपलब्ध कराई जाए। उन्होंने कहा कि इस आपदा ने न केवल आर्थिक नुकसान किया है बल्कि लोगों का मनोबल भी गिराया है। पूर्व मंत्री ने भरोसा दिलाया कि वह क्षेत्रवासियों की हर संभव मदद के लिए प्रयासरत रहेंगे।

Former Food Supply Minister Rajendra Garg visited the rain-affected villages of Dumher, Badi Chowk, Kot (Bahal), Rudani, Dadhol, Chakarana, and Marhana to assess the damage. He expressed deep concern after witnessing the destruction and shared the pain of the families who have lost their homes, belongings, and livelihood. Many villagers are now forced to take shelter in temporary camps.
Garg alleged that despite the widespread destruction, neither the government nor the administration has reached several villages in time. He said that the lack of relief has added to the suffering of the affected families. He pointed out that continuous heavy rains have caused landslides, damaged houses, and created an environment of fear and insecurity in the Ghumarwin constituency.
Appealing to the authorities, Garg demanded urgent distribution of food, medical aid, temporary shelter, and financial assistance for the victims. He emphasized that this disaster has not only caused material loss but also broken the morale of the people. He assured the residents that he stands firmly with them and will extend all possible support.
