हमीरपुर (रजनीश शर्मा)। हमीरपुर जिला के बमसन खंड की टपरे पंचायत के गब्बा गांव के ग्रामीणों ने आपसी सहयोग से 25 लाख रुपये जुटाकर अपने खर्च पर आधा किलोमीटर लंबी एम्बुलेंस रोड बनाई थी। इस सड़क का उद्देश्य आपातकाल में एम्बुलेंस की गांव तक सीधी पहुंच सुनिश्चित करना था।
हालांकि, डंगे न लग पाने और रिटेनिंग वॉल के अभाव में इस वर्ष की बरसात ने सड़क का लगभग 80% हिस्सा बर्बाद कर दिया। मिट्टी कटाव ने न केवल सड़क को तबाह किया, बल्कि आसपास के घरों को भी खतरे में डाल दिया है।
नजदीकी गांव कोटलू के निवासियों ने सड़क निर्माण के लिए जमीन दी थी। लेकिन एक वर्ष से लगातार सरकारी दफ्तरों और जनप्रतिनिधियों से सहयोग की गुहार लगाने के बावजूद कोई सहायता नहीं मिली है।
ग्रामीणों ने सरकार से इस जनसेवामूलक सड़क को फिर से बहाल करने के लिए तत्काल वित्तीय और तकनीकी सहायता की मांग की है।
Hamirpur (Rajneesh Sharma). In a remarkable show of unity, the villagers of Gabba in Tapre Panchayat, Hamirpur district, raised ₹25 lakh and constructed a 500-meter ambulance road on their own. The road was built to ensure quick ambulance access during emergencies.
Unfortunately, due to the lack of retaining walls and proper slope management, the road has been 80% damaged in the recent monsoon. Soil erosion has not only destroyed the road but also put nearby houses at serious risk.
Residents of Kotlu village had donated land for this purpose, making it a collective initiative. Despite repeated appeals for over a year, no government help has been received for repair or protection.
Villagers have now urged the state government to provide immediate financial and technical assistance so that this crucial road can be restored and emergency medical services can resume.
