हिमाचल प्रदेश परिवहन विभाग ने प्रदेश के विभिन्न हिस्सों में चयनित 350 बस रूटों पर स्टेज कैरिज वाहनों (टैक्सी ट्रैवलर) के संचालन हेतु ऑनलाइन आवेदन की अंतिम तिथि को बढ़ाकर अब 28 जुलाई 2025 कर दिया है। पहले यह तिथि 21 जुलाई 2025 निर्धारित की गई थी।
विभाग की ओर से जारी अधिसूचना में बताया गया है कि इन रूटों की विस्तृत जानकारी, नियम व शर्तें तथा आवंटन प्रक्रिया विभाग की वेबसाइट https://himachal.nic.in/transport/ पर उपलब्ध है।
परिवहन विभाग ने यह निर्णय संभावित आवेदकों को अधिक समय देने और आवेदन प्रक्रिया को सुगम बनाने के उद्देश्य से लिया है। इस नीति से जहां राज्य के सुदूर क्षेत्रों में यातायात सुविधाएं सुदृढ़ होंगी, वहीं युवाओं को रोजगार के नए अवसर भी प्राप्त होंगे।

The Himachal Pradesh Transport Department has extended the deadline for online applications to operate stage carriage vehicles (Taxi Travelers) on 350 selected bus routes across the state. The new deadline is July 28, 2025, whereas the previous cutoff was July 21, 2025.
According to the official notification, details of selected routes, eligibility criteria, allocation process, and terms & conditions are available on the department’s website: https://himachal.nic.in/transport/.
This extension is aimed at allowing more interested individuals and operators to apply conveniently. It is expected that the scheme will not only enhance public transport connectivity in remote regions of Himachal Pradesh but also offer fresh employment opportunities to local youth.
The transport department encourages eligible applicants to take advantage of the extended timeline and ensure timely submission of online applications.
