ओल्ड ऐज हेल्पलाइन ने मुख्यमंत्री राहत कोष में योगदान
उपायुक्त सोलन को भेंट किया 51 हजार रुपये का चेक
सोलन, 23 जुलाई 2025 — जिला सोलन में ओल्ड ऐज हेल्पलाइन सोसायटी द्वारा एक सामाजिक उत्तरदायित्व का परिचय देते हुए मुख्यमंत्री राहत कोष में ₹51,000 की राशि भेंट की गई। यह राशि आपदा प्रभावितों की सहायता के उद्देश्य से उपायुक्त सोलन मनमोहन शर्मा को औपचारिक रूप से एक चेक के माध्यम से सौंपी गई।
इस अवसर पर सोसायटी के अध्यक्ष शैलेन्द्र सिंह कंवर, महासचिव एस.आर. गर्ग, सदस्य डॉ. पंकज खुल्लर, एल.आर. नेगी, डॉ. वी.के. राय और रमेश कुमार भी उपस्थित रहे। उपायुक्त ने इस योगदान के लिए संस्था का आभार प्रकट किया और कहा कि यह योगदान आपदा प्रभावितों के पुनर्वास में सहायक सिद्ध होगा।
उपायुक्त ने कहा कि ऐसी संस्थाएं समाज में सकारात्मक संदेश देती हैं और आपसी सहयोग की भावना को बढ़ावा देती हैं। इस प्रकार के प्रयासों से समाज में सामूहिक संवेदनशीलता और जागरूकता का संचार होता है।

Society Members Meet DC Solan for Official Handover
Solan, July 23, 2025 — Demonstrating social responsibility, the Old Age Helpline Society, Solan donated a cheque of ₹51,000 to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to support disaster-affected families in Himachal Pradesh. The cheque was formally handed over to Deputy Commissioner Solan, Manmohan Sharma.
Present on the occasion were Shailendra Singh Kanwar (President), S.R. Garg (General Secretary), and members Dr. Pankaj Khullar, L.R. Negi, Dr. V.K. Rai, and Ramesh Kumar.
The Deputy Commissioner expressed his gratitude towards the society and appreciated their noble gesture. He emphasized that such contributions go a long way in supporting the government’s relief and rehabilitation efforts for those affected by natural calamities.
He further added that acts of collective goodwill like this strengthen community ties and inspire others to come forward in times of need.
