स्वच्छ छवि और विकास कार्यों से विपक्ष पर भारी पड़ रही गीतांजलि जखमोला

देहरादून। उत्तराखंड में चल रहे त्रिस्तरीय पंचायत चुनाव में डोईवाला ब्लाक की सबसे बड़ी ग्राम पंचायत हरिपुर कलां से प्रधान पद की प्रत्याशी गीतांजलि जखमोला है। श्रीमती गीतांजलि जखमोला भारतीय जनता युवा मोर्चा के पूर्व प्रदेश महामंत्री श्री मनोज जखमोला की धर्मपत्नी है।
हरिपुर कलां के प्रधान पद पर रहते हुए प्रबंधन में परास्नातक उपाधि धारक (एमबीए) गीतांजलि जखमोला द्वारा अपनी विशिष्ट कार्य शैली से गांव को सभी नगरीय सुविधाओं सीवर लाइन, 8 लाख लीटर की पानी की टंकियों का निर्माण, पथ प्रकाश हेतु 250 से अधिक सोलर लाइट की व्यवस्था, गांव की सुरक्षा हेतु सोलर कैमरों से निगरानी व्यवस्था, सम्पूर्ण गांव में सिंचाई हेतु गूलों का निर्माण, नालियों का निर्माण, गांव में पीडब्ल्यूडी के माध्यम से पक्की सड़कों आदि का निर्माण कर सुसज्जित करने का महत्वपूर्ण कार्य किया है।गांव के निवासियों की स्वास्थ्य सुविधाओं हेतु सप्तऋषि आश्रम से चार बीघा भूमि ग्राम पंचायत के नाम करने का भी कार्य किया गया है इस मूल्यवान भूमि पर स्वास्थ्य सुविधाएं विकसित की जायेंगी। 
गीतांजलि जखमोला के प्रबंधन एवं विकास कार्यों के कारण गीतांजलि जखमोला को गांव के सभी वर्गों का अभूतपूर्व जनसमर्थन प्राप्त हो रहा है।
चुनाव प्रचार की बैठकों में जुट रही भीड़ ने और आज प्रचार के अन्तिम दिन गीतांजलि जखमोला के समर्थन में निकली रैली में उमड़े जनसैलाब ने विपक्षियों को हताश और निराश कर दिया है।
विदित है कि हरिपुर कलां पिछले तीन दशकों से भारतीय जनता पार्टी का अभेद गढ़ रहा है, जिसे भेद पाना कांग्रेस की प्रत्याशी के लिए एक अबूझ पहेली की तरह है।
Geetanjali Jakhmola Emerges as a Development-Oriented Leader in Haripur Kalan Panchayat Elections Dehradun (Uttarakhand): In the ongoing three-tier panchayat elections of Uttarakhand, Mrs. Geetanjali Jakhmola has emerged as a strong candidate for the post of village head (Pradhan) from Haripur Kalan, the largest gram panchayat in Doiwala Block.
She is the wife of Mr. Manoj Jakhmola, former State General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM). Geetanjali Jakhmola, an MBA postgraduate with a background in management, has earned widespread public support due to her effective leadership and commitment to development during her previous term.
Some of her notable achievements include: Implementation of a sewerage system Construction of 8 lakh-liter capacity water tanks Installation of over 250 solar-powered street lights Deployment of solar surveillance cameras for village security Development of irrigation channels (gools) across the entire village Construction of drainage systems and paved roads via PWD In a significant step towards improving healthcare, she also facilitated the transfer of 4 bighas of land from SaptRishi Ashram to the panchayat. This land is earmarked for setting up modern health facilities for villagers.
On the final day of campaigning, a massive rally in support of Geetanjali Jakhmola sent a strong message to the opposition. The overwhelming crowd turnout at public meetings has left rival candidates visibly concerned.
It’s worth noting that Haripur Kalan has been a BJP stronghold for over three decades, making it a challenging contest for the Congress candidate.
With her transparent governance, development-focused vision, and public trust, Geetanjali Jakhmola continues to inspire confidence among voters across all sections of society.
