हिमाचल प्रदेश के सरकारी स्कूलों में 25 वर्षों से सेवाएं दे रहे 1321 कंप्यूटर शिक्षक आज भी शिक्षा विभाग में एकमुश्त मर्ज होने की प्रतीक्षा कर रहे हैं। हिमाचल प्रदेश कंप्यूटर शिक्षक संघ की राज्य अध्यक्ष सुमन ठाकुर और मुख्य संयोजक अजीत धीमान ने सरकार की उदासीनता पर नाराज़गी जताते हुए मुख्यमंत्री से तत्काल ठोस निर्णय लेने की अपील की है।
उन्होंने बताया कि वर्ष 2023 में सरकार द्वारा कंप्यूटर शिक्षकों को शिक्षा विभाग में समायोजित करने का फैसला लिया गया था, लेकिन अब दो वर्ष बीतने के बाद भी इस दिशा में कोई कारगर कदम नहीं उठाया गया। कई शिक्षक ओवरेज हो चुके हैं और कुछ बिना नियमित हुए सेवानिवृत्त भी हो गए हैं।
संघ का कहना है कि मुख्यमंत्री ठाकुर सुखविंदर सिंह सुक्खू द्वारा आश्वासन देने के बावजूद, शिक्षा विभाग लिमिटेड डायरेक्ट रिक्रूटमेंट का हवाला देकर मुख्यमंत्री को गुमराह कर रहा है। 25 वर्षों से कंप्यूटर शिक्षक सरकार के सभी नियमों का पालन करते हुए विद्यार्थियों के भविष्य को संवारते आ रहे हैं।
संघ ने चेताया है कि अगर शीघ्र कोई निर्णय नहीं लिया गया तो कंप्यूटर शिक्षक आंदोलन का मार्ग अपनाने को विवश होंगे। साथ ही उन्होंने मुख्यमंत्री से इस मामले में स्थायी नीति बनाने और जल्द कार्यवाही की मांग की है।

Computer teachers working in Himachal Pradesh government schools for the past 25 years have once again urged the state government to merge their services into the Education Department.
State President Suman Thakur and Chief Coordinator Ajit Dhiman of the Himachal Pradesh Computer Teachers’ Association stated that despite repeated assurances by Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, no concrete steps have been taken by the Education Department so far.
In 2023, a decision was made to integrate these teachers into the department, but even after nearly two years, the process has not progressed. Many teachers have become overaged, and some have retired without regularization.
The association claims the department is misleading the Chief Minister by citing limited direct recruitment, while ignoring the services and dedication shown by computer teachers for over two decades. They have warned of protests if their demands are not met soon and have requested the CM to frame a permanent policy for regularization.
