राजगढ़, 18 अगस्त। सिरमौर जिला के राजगढ़ उपमंडल में सनौरा-नेरीपुल छैला सड़क पर बड़ा हादसा टल गया। हिमाचल पथ परिवहन निगम (सोलन डिपो) की बस (नंबर HP63-9865) पर अचानक पहाड़ी से एक भारी-भरकम पत्थर गिर गया और बस की सीट नंबर एक की खिड़की तोड़ते हुए अंदर जा घुसा।
इस हादसे में सीट नंबर एक पर बैठे 10 वर्षीय मासूम बच्चे को चोटें आईं जबकि सीट नंबर दो पर बैठी महिला और चालक को भी हल्की चोटें लगीं। घटना के समय बस में करीब 30 यात्री सवार थे जो बाल-बाल बच गए।
यह हादसा नेरीपुल के समीप बगैरना में पेश आया। जानकारी के अनुसार, बस शिमला जिला के चौपाल उपमंडल के बिजमल से सनौरा-नेरीपुल होते हुए सोलन की ओर जा रही थी।
स्थानीय लोगों का कहना है कि सनौरा-नेरीपुल छैला सड़क की हालत लंबे समय से खराब है और सेब सीजन के दौरान लगातार हादसे हो रहे हैं। 15 अगस्त को भी क्षेत्रीय लोगों ने इस मुद्दे पर लोक निर्माण मंत्री विक्रमादित्य सिंह से नाहन में मुलाकात कर सुधार की मांग उठाई थी।
डीएसपी राजगढ़ विद्या चंद नेगी ने बताया कि घटना की जानकारी मिली है, हालांकि अभी पुलिस में कोई शिकायत दर्ज नहीं हुई है। वहीं, क्षेत्रीय प्रबंधक सुरेंद्र राजपूत ने कहा कि बस में सभी यात्री सुरक्षित हैं और केवल एक बच्चे को हल्की चोट आई है।
Rajgarh, August 18. A major tragedy was averted today in the Rajgarh subdivision of Sirmaur district, when a huge boulder fell from a hillside onto an HRTC bus (Solan Depot, HP63-9865) on the Sanoara-Neripul Chhailla road.
The boulder smashed through the window of seat number one, injuring a 10-year-old boy sitting there. A woman on seat number two and the driver also received minor injuries. At the time of the accident, 30 passengers were onboard, all of whom narrowly escaped a bigger mishap.
The incident occurred near Bagairna, close to Neripul. The bus was traveling from Bijmal in Chopal subdivision (Shimla district) towards Solan via Sanoara-Neripul.
Locals highlighted that the Sanoara-Neripul Chhailla road has been in poor condition for months, with multiple accidents during the apple season. On August 15, a local delegation even raised the issue with PWD Minister Vikramaditya Singh in Nahan, demanding urgent road safety measures.
DSP Rajgarh Vidya Chand Negi confirmed the incident, though no formal police complaint has been registered. Regional Manager Surender Rajput said that except for minor injuries to the boy, all passengers are safe.
