हमीरपुर में राजीव गांधी को श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित करते कांग्रेस नेता और कार्यकर्ता
हमीरपुर, 20 अगस्त 2025 – भारत रत्न एवं पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री स्व. राजीव गांधी जी की जयंती पर कांग्रेस हमीरपुर द्वारा श्रद्धांजलि कार्यक्रम बड़े हर्षोल्लास और श्रद्धाभाव से मनाया गया। इस कार्यक्रम की अगुवाई निवर्तमान कांग्रेस शहरी अध्यक्ष देवदास शहंशाह ने की।
कार्यक्रम में वरिष्ठ कांग्रेस नेता एवं पूर्व प्रत्याशी डॉ. पुष्पेंद्र वर्मा विशेष रूप से उपस्थित रहे। सभी कार्यकर्ताओं और नेताओं ने मिलकर राजीव गांधी जी की प्रतिमा पर पुष्पांजलि अर्पित कर उन्हें श्रद्धासुमन समर्पित किए।
अपने संबोधन में डॉ. पुष्पेंद्र वर्मा ने कहा कि, “राजीव गांधी जी आधुनिक भारत के सच्चे शिल्पकार थे। उन्होंने कंप्यूटर क्रांति और सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी की राह दिखाई तथा 18 वर्ष की आयु में मतदान का अधिकार देकर युवाओं को लोकतंत्र से जोड़ा।”
इस अवसर पर पूर्व विधायक कुलदीप पठानिया, पूर्व विधायक श्रीमती अनीता वर्मा, नशा निवारण बोर्ड के संयोजक नरेश ठाकुर, एपीएमसी अध्यक्ष अजय शर्मा, महिला कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष राकेश रानी, यूथ कांग्रेस ब्लॉक अध्यक्ष दिवस ठाकुर सहित अनेक कांग्रेसी कार्यकर्ता मौजूद रहे।
Hamirpur, August 20, 2025 – The Hamirpur Congress organized a heartfelt tribute program on the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna and former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. The program was led by outgoing Urban Congress President Devdas Shahanshah.
Senior Congress leader and former candidate Dr. Pushpendra Verma was specially present. Party leaders and workers paid floral tributes at Rajiv Gandhi’s statue and remembered his remarkable contributions.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Pushpendra Verma said, “Rajiv Gandhi was truly the architect of modern India. He led the nation into the era of computer revolution and information technology, while also empowering youth by reducing the voting age to 18.”
The program saw the presence of former MLA Kuldeep Pathania, former MLA Smt. Anita Verma, Nasha Nivaran Board Convener Naresh Thakur, APMC Chairman Ajay Sharma, District Mahila Congress President Rakesh Rani, Youth Congress Block President Diwas Thakur, and several dedicated Congress workers.
