शिमला, 25 अगस्त। हिमाचल विधानसभा के सातवें दिन उद्योगों को लेकर विपक्ष और सरकार आमने-सामने आ गए। प्रश्नकाल के दौरान विधायक बिक्रम ठाकुर ने नए उद्योगों की स्थापना और मौजूदा उद्योगों के पलायन पर गंभीर सवाल उठाए। विपक्ष का आरोप था कि कांग्रेस सरकार के आने के बाद से प्रदेश में उद्योग या तो बंद हो रहे हैं या बाहर जा रहे हैं।
नेता प्रतिपक्ष जयराम ठाकुर ने कहा कि उद्योग प्रदेश की अर्थव्यवस्था और युवाओं के रोजगार की रीढ़ हैं, लेकिन सरकार की नीतियां उद्योगपतियों को हतोत्साहित कर रही हैं। बिजली दरों में वृद्धि और भ्रष्टाचार से उद्योग हिमाचल छोड़ने को मजबूर हो रहे हैं।
मुख्यमंत्री ने विपक्ष के आरोपों को खारिज करते हुए पूर्व सरकार के कार्यकाल में लगे उद्योगों की गड़बड़ियों का उल्लेख किया। इस पर विपक्ष ने पलटवार करते हुए सवाल उठाया कि यदि गड़बड़ियां हुईं तो अब तक जांच क्यों नहीं हुई।
विपक्ष का आरोप रहा कि उद्योग मंत्री संतोषजनक उत्तर देने में असफल रहे और तीन वर्षों में एक भी बड़ी इंडस्ट्री स्थापित नहीं हो पाई है। असंतुष्ट विपक्ष नारेबाजी करते हुए सदन से वाकआउट कर गया।
Shimla, August 25. On the seventh day of the Himachal Pradesh Assembly session, a heated debate broke out over the issue of industries. BJP MLA Bikram Thakur raised questions about the lack of new industries and the migration of existing ones. Dissatisfied with the response from the Industry Minister and the Chief Minister, the opposition staged a walkout.
Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur alleged that ever since the Congress government came to power, industries have either shut down or shifted out of the state. He said industries are the backbone of Himachal’s economy and employment, but the government is harassing industrialists through corruption and higher electricity charges.
The Chief Minister countered by pointing out irregularities in industries established during the previous government’s tenure. The opposition, however, retaliated, questioning why no investigation had been carried out so far.
Accusing the Industry Minister of failing to provide satisfactory answers, the opposition highlighted that not a single major industry had been set up in the last three years. Following this, the opposition staged a walkout amidst slogans.
