नेरचौक क्षेत्र में यातायात व्यवस्था को बेहतर और सुरक्षित बनाने के लिए प्रशासन ने ठोस पहल शुरू की है। उपायुक्त मंडी अपूर्व देवगन ने नेरचौक से मेडिकल कॉलेज तक सड़क मार्ग पर बस स्टॉप और हल्के वाहनों के लिए पार्किंग स्थलों को चिन्हित करने संबंधी ड्राफ्ट अधिसूचना जारी की है।
जारी अधिसूचना के अनुसार, बस स्टॉप एसबीआई नेरचौक और रेन शेल्टर, मेडिकल कॉलेज के सामने ओम मेडिकल स्टोर के पास तथा राणा मार्केट नेरचौक में प्रस्तावित किए गए हैं। वहीं हल्के वाहनों के लिए पार्किंग स्थल मेडिकल कॉलेज से हंग्री प्वाइंट तक, मल्होत्रा अस्पताल के पास, पेट्रोल पंप के पास और गुरुद्वारा साहिब के पास चिन्हित किए गए हैं।
उपायुक्त ने बताया कि यह अधिसूचना उपमंडलाधिकारी (ना.) बल्ह की सिफारिश और पुलिस अधीक्षक मंडी की अनुशंसा पर मोटर वाहन अधिनियम 1988 की धारा 117 के अंतर्गत तैयार की गई है। उन्होंने कहा कि आमजन से एक माह के भीतर लिखित आपत्तियां और सुझाव आमंत्रित किए गए हैं।
क्षेत्रवासियों से आह्वान किया गया है कि वे यातायात व्यवस्था को सुचारू और सुरक्षित बनाने में सहयोग करें और समय पर अपने सुझाव प्रशासन तक पहुँचाएं।

To streamline and ensure safe traffic management in Nerchowk, the district administration has taken a significant step. Deputy Commissioner Apoorv Devgan has issued a draft notification for identifying bus stops and light vehicle parking zones from Nerchowk to the Medical College road stretch.
As per the draft, bus stops are proposed near SBI Nerchowk and Rain Shelter, in front of Om Medical Store near the Medical College, and Rana Market Nerchowk. Light vehicle parking has been earmarked from Medical College to Hungry Point, near Malhotra Hospital, close to the petrol pump, and near Gurudwara Sahib.
The DC stated that this notification has been prepared under Section 117 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, based on recommendations from the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (Naib-Tehsildar) Balh and the Superintendent of Police, Mandi.
Public objections and suggestions are invited within one month, after which the notification will be finalized. The DC urged locals to actively participate and support the initiative for smooth and safe traffic management.
