हमीरपुर ज़िला परिषद बैठक में उठे जनहित मुद्दे

हमीरपुर जिला परिषद की बुधवार को आयोजित बैठक में जनहित से जुड़े कई गंभीर मुद्दों पर सदन में तीखी चर्चा हुई। बैठक में दिव्यांगों को बीपीएल सूची से बाहर करने और एनएच-03 के निर्माण कार्य के चलते बंद पड़े रास्तों और लिंक रोड को लेकर खासा आक्रोश देखने को मिला।
जिला परिषद अध्यक्ष बबली ने एनएचएआई, प्रोजेक्ट इंप्लीमेंटेशन यूनिट और सड़क परिवहन मंत्रालय (MoRTH) के अधिकारियों को कोट से आवाहदेवी तक क्षतिग्रस्त रास्तों और जंक्शनों को तत्काल ठीक करने के निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने कहा कि निर्माण कंपनी की लापरवाही से जनता परेशान है और अधिकारी भी समाधान नहीं कर रहे। दरकोटी व टपरे श्मशान घाट, अस्पताल चौक और उहल चौक दुर्घटनाओं के खतरे बने हुए हैं।
बैठक में समीरपुर वार्ड से सदस्य पवन कुमार ने आरोप लगाया कि सरकार के गलत आदेशों और राजनीतिक लाभ के लिए कई 75–80% दिव्यांगों को BPL सूची से बाहर कर दिया गया है। उन्होंने कोट लांगसा पंचायत के दिव्यांग सोमनाथ के मुद्दे को सदन में जोरशोर से उठाया।
बैठक में राजेश कुमार, संजय कुमार, प्रवीण कुमार, राजकुमारी, वीना देवी आदि सदस्यों ने कुल 25 जनहित मुद्दे उठाए, जिनमें बिजली, पानी, सड़क, अस्पताल व बस सुविधा जैसे विषय शामिल रहे। अधिकतर सवालों के उत्तर संबंधित अधिकारियों ने मौके पर दिए।

At the Hamirpur Zila Parishad meeting held on Wednesday, multiple public welfare issues stirred intense discussions. Concerns over removal of differently-abled persons from the BPL list and blocked NH-03 link roads dominated the session.
Zila Parishad Chairperson Babli directed officials from NHAI, Project Implementation Unit, and MoRTH to immediately repair the damaged roads and junctions from Kot to Awahdevi. She stated that public frustration is growing due to negligence by the construction company and lack of response from concerned authorities. DarKoti and Tapre cremation ground roads, along with Hospital Chowk and Uhal Chowk junctions, have become accident-prone areas.
Samirpur ward member Pawan Kumar alleged that due to flawed policies, many eligible differently-abled individuals with 75–80% disability have been removed from the BPL category to benefit certain political groups. He raised the issue of Somnath from Kot Langsa Panchayat.
Zila Parishad members Rajesh Kumar, Sanjay Kumar, Praveen Kumar, Rajkumari, Veena Devi, and others raised around 25 public welfare concerns, including electricity, water, roads, hospital facilities, and transport services. Most questions were addressed by departmental officers on the spot.
The meeting highlighted the need for urgent reforms and accountability in infrastructure and social welfare execution across the district.
