शिमला/हमीरपुर। मुख्यमंत्री ठाकुर सुखविंद्र सिंह सुक्खू ने हमीरपुर जिला निवासी आदर्श वर्मा को भारतीय सेना में मेजर जनरल बनने पर हार्दिक बधाई और शुभकामनाएं दी हैं। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि यह उपलब्धि न केवल हमीरपुर, बल्कि पूरे हिमाचल प्रदेश के लिए गौरव का विषय है।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि मेजर जनरल आदर्श वर्मा ने कठिन परिश्रम और समर्पण से यह उपलब्धि हासिल की है। उन्हें पूर्व में विशिष्ट सेवा मेडल से भी सम्मानित किया जा चुका है, जो उनकी उत्कृष्ट सैन्य सेवा का प्रमाण है।
श्री सुक्खू ने कहा कि आदर्श वर्मा जैसे व्यक्तित्व युवाओं के लिए प्रेरणास्रोत हैं। उन्होंने यह सिद्ध किया है कि दृढ़ निश्चय, अनुशासन और ईमानदारी से किसी भी ऊंचाई को छूना संभव है। उन्होंने आदर्श वर्मा के सफल और प्रेरणादायक कार्यकाल की कामना की।
हिमाचल प्रदेश से निकले एक और युवा ने देश की सेना में ऊँचा पद पाकर प्रदेश का नाम रोशन किया है।

The Chief Minister said that Adarsh Verma’s achievement is a moment of pride not only for Hamirpur but for the entire state of Himachal Pradesh. He praised Verma’s hard work, dedication, and years of committed service.
Adarsh Verma has previously been awarded the Vishisht Seva Medal (VSM) for his exceptional service. CM Sukhu remarked that such individuals are true role models for the youth of the country. Their journey proves that with strong willpower, discipline, and perseverance, any goal can be achieved.
He wished Major General Verma a successful tenure in his new leadership role and expressed confidence that he would continue to serve the nation with distinction.
