नादौन, 19 जुलाई।
प्रदेश के पहले अर्बन हेल्थ सेंटर (Urban Health Center) का शुभारंभ शुक्रवार को नगर परिषद वार्ड नंबर 5, नादौन में किया गया। इस स्वास्थ्य केंद्र का उद्घाटन बीएमओ डॉ. राजेश भारद्वाज ने किया, जबकि इस अवसर पर नगर परिषद अध्यक्ष शम्मी सोनी विशेष रूप से उपस्थित रहे।
शम्मी सोनी ने इसे मुख्यमंत्री सुखविंदर सिंह सुक्खू द्वारा नादौनवासियों को दी गई एक महत्वपूर्ण स्वास्थ्य सौगात बताया। उन्होंने जानकारी दी कि जल्द ही नगर क्षेत्र में तीन और अर्बन हेल्थ सेंटर खोले जाएंगे, जिससे आम जनता को सुलभ और गुणवत्तापूर्ण स्वास्थ्य सुविधाएं उपलब्ध होंगी।
डॉ. भारद्वाज ने बताया कि सेंटर में सपना कुमारी (फार्मासिस्ट), रिम्पी कुमारी (हेल्थ वर्कर) और निशा की तैनाती हो चुकी है। निकट भविष्य में एक चिकित्सक की नियुक्ति भी की जाएगी। इस केंद्र पर ब्लड प्रेशर और शुगर जांच जैसी सामान्य जांच सुविधाएं मुफ्त में उपलब्ध होंगी।
इस अवसर पर भवन मालिक रत्न चंद शर्मा व राम प्यारी, पार्षद संदीप जैन, योगराज, नवल अवस्थी, विवेक गुलाटी, अजय सोंधी सहित कई गणमान्य नागरिक उपस्थित रहे।

Himachal Pradesh’s first Urban Health Center was inaugurated in Ward No. 5, Nadaun on Friday by BMO Dr. Rajesh Bhardwaj. Municipal Council Chairperson Shammie Soni was present as the chief guest.
Shammie Soni termed the center as a major health initiative and a gift from Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu to the people of Nadaun. She informed that three more such centers will soon be opened in the town to ensure accessible and efficient health services for all.
Dr. Bhardwaj stated that Sapna Kumari (Pharmacist), Rimpi Kumari (Health Worker), and Nisha have been appointed at the center, and a doctor will soon join the team. Basic checkups like blood pressure and sugar testing will be provided free of cost.
The inauguration ceremony was also attended by building owners Ratna Chand Sharma and Ram Pyari, councillors Sandeep Jain, Yograj, Naval Awasthi, Vivek Gulati, and Ajay Sondhi, along with several other dignitaries.
This new urban health facility is expected to bring much-needed primary care services closer to the urban population of Nadaun.
