डॉ. परमार की 119वीं जयंती पर दी श्रद्धांजलि
शिमला रिज पर पुष्पांजलि अर्पित कर मनाई जयंती
शिमला, 2 अगस्त। हिमाचल प्रदेश के निर्माता एवं प्रथम मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. यशवंत सिंह परमार की 119वीं जयंती आज शिमला के ऐतिहासिक रिज मैदान पर हर्षोल्लास के साथ मनाई गई। इस अवसर पर डॉ. परमार की प्रतिमा पर पुष्पांजलि अर्पित कर उन्हें श्रद्धांजलि दी गई।
कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता करते हुए ग्रामीण विकास एवं पंचायती राज मंत्री अनिरुद्ध सिंह ने प्रदेशवासियों की ओर से डॉ. परमार को श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की और उनके योगदान को याद किया।
इस अवसर पर नेता प्रतिपक्ष जय राम ठाकुर, हिमाचल विधानसभा के उपाध्यक्ष विनय कुमार, महापौर सुरेंद्र चौहान, उपमहापौर उमा कौशल, पार्षदगण, उपायुक्त अनुपम कश्यप, एसपी संजीव गांधी, विशेष सचिव हरबंस सिंह ब्रासकोन, आयुक्त भूपेंद्र अत्री सहित अन्य वरिष्ठ अधिकारी मौजूद रहे।
कार्यक्रम में सूचना एवं जनसंपर्क विभाग के कलाकारों ने देशभक्ति गीत और भजनों के माध्यम से डॉ. परमार को भावभीनी श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की।
डॉ. परमार ने हिमाचल को एक स्वतंत्र और संगठित राज्य के रूप में स्थापित करने में अहम भूमिका निभाई। प्रदेश के विकास की नींव उनके दूरदर्शी नेतृत्व में रखी गई।

Floral tributes offered at Ridge, Shimla in honour of Himachal’s first CM
Shimla, August 2. The 119th birth anniversary of Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar, the founding father and first Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, was observed with great reverence at the Ridge, Shimla.
Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Anirudh Singh led the tribute by offering floral respects on behalf of the people of Himachal Pradesh.
Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur, Deputy Speaker Vinay Kumar, Mayor Surender Chauhan, Deputy Mayor Uma Kaushal, Shimla DC Anupam Kashyap, SP Sanjeev Gandhi, GAD Secretary Harbans Singh Brascon, Municipal Commissioner Bhupender Atri, and other dignitaries also paid homage.
Artists from the Information & Public Relations Department presented devotional songs and patriotic music to honor Dr. Parmar’s legacy.
Dr. Parmar played a pivotal role in shaping Himachal Pradesh as an independent, progressive state and laid the foundation for its democratic and infrastructural development.
