धर्मशाला। हिमाचल प्रदेश के धर्मशाला–पालमपुर मार्ग पर रविवार सुबह एक बेहद दर्दनाक सड़क हादसा सामने आया। पंजाब के मोगा से आ रहे श्रद्धालुओं से भरी एक महिंद्रा पिकअप जडरांगल गांव के पास बैले होटल, इक्कू मोड़ पर अनियंत्रित होकर गहरी खाई में गिर गई। हादसा सुबह लगभग 7:29 बजे हुआ।
वाहन में कुल 29 लोग सवार थे। इस हादसे में 4 श्रद्धालुओं ने मौके पर ही दम तोड़ दिया, जिनमें एक महिला भी शामिल है। 23 यात्री घायल हुए हैं, जिनमें से 10 गंभीर रूप से घायल हैं और 13 को हल्की चोटें आई हैं। सभी घायलों का इलाज डॉ. राजेंद्र प्रसाद मेडिकल कॉलेज (टीएमसी), टांडा में चल रहा है।
स्थानीय पुलिस व एसएचओ तुरंत मौके पर पहुंचे और कानूनी प्रक्रिया शुरू की। इस घटना से पूरे क्षेत्र में शोक की लहर है। जिला प्रशासन ने हादसे पर गहरा दुख जताया और पीड़ित परिवारों को हरसंभव मदद का आश्वासन दिया है।
Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh – A tragic road accident occurred on the Dharamshala–Palampur road early Sunday morning. A Mahindra pickup carrying devotees from Moga, Punjab lost control near Balle Hotel, Iku Mor, Jadrangal village, and plunged into a deep gorge around 7:29 AM.
The pickup had 29 passengers on board. Sadly, four devotees, including a woman, lost their lives, while 23 others sustained injuries. Among them, 10 are reported to be critically injured and 13 suffered minor injuries. All the injured are receiving treatment at Dr. Rajendra Prasad Medical College (TMC), Tanda.
Police officers, including the SHO, reached the hospital immediately and initiated legal proceedings. The accident has spread grief across the region. The district administration has expressed condolences to the bereaved families and assured all possible support.
