नई दिल्ली, 19 अगस्त – भारतीय विदेश सेवा (2024 बैच) के प्रशिक्षु अधिकारियों ने आज राष्ट्रपति भवन में राष्ट्रपति श्रीमती द्रौपदी मुर्मु से सौजन्य मुलाकात की। राष्ट्रपति ने सभी अधिकारियों को शुभकामनाएं देते हुए कहा कि भारत के राजनयिक न केवल हमारे देश का प्रतिनिधित्व करेंगे, बल्कि दुनिया को भारत की आत्मा से भी परिचित कराएंगे।
उन्होंने कहा कि अधिकारियों को अपनी यात्रा की शुरुआत भारतीय सभ्यता के मूल्यों – शांति, बहुलवाद, अहिंसा और संवाद – के साथ करनी चाहिए। उन्होंने युवाओं को वैश्विक बदलावों, डिजिटल क्रांति और जलवायु परिवर्तन जैसी चुनौतियों के प्रति सजग और अनुकूल बनने की सलाह दी।
राष्ट्रपति मुर्मु ने कहा कि सांस्कृतिक कूटनीति का महत्व बढ़ता जा रहा है। योग, आयुर्वेद, भारतीय संगीत, कला और भाषा जैसी परंपराएं वैश्विक स्तर पर भारत की पहचान मजबूत करेंगी। उन्होंने जोर दिया कि कूटनीतिक प्रयासों का उद्देश्य 2047 तक भारत को विकसित राष्ट्र बनाने की दिशा में होना चाहिए।
New Delhi, August 19 – Trainee officers of the Indian Foreign Service (2024 batch) called on President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan today. The President congratulated them and reminded that as diplomats, they will be the first face of India that the world will recognize through their words, actions, and values.
She urged the officers to uphold India’s civilizational values of peace, pluralism, non-violence, and dialogue while embracing openness towards diverse cultures and perspectives. Highlighting challenges such as geopolitical shifts, climate change, and digital transformation, she said agility and adaptability will be key to their success.
President Murmu also emphasized the rising importance of cultural diplomacy. Practices like Yoga, Ayurveda, Indian art, music, and spiritual traditions, she noted, are strong mediums to connect hearts globally. She underlined that India’s diplomatic efforts should align with the nation’s goal of becoming a developed country by 2047.
