धर्मशाला, 20 अगस्त – कांगड़ा के उपायुक्त हेमराज बैरवा ने आज उपायुक्त कार्यालय परिसर में पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री भारत रत्न राजीव गांधी की जयंती पर सद्भावना दिवस शपथ दिलाई। इस अवसर पर अधिकारियों और कर्मचारियों ने आपसी भाईचारे, सौहार्द और राष्ट्रीय एकता को सुदृढ़ करने का संकल्प लिया। उपायुक्त ने राजीव गांधी की प्रतिमा पर पुष्पांजलि अर्पित कर उन्हें श्रद्धांजलि दी।
उपायुक्त बैरवा ने कहा कि सद्भावना दिवस का उद्देश्य जाति, धर्म, भाषा और क्षेत्रीय भेदभाव से ऊपर उठकर समाज और राष्ट्र की प्रगति के लिए कार्य करना है। उन्होंने अधिकारियों व कर्मचारियों से आह्वान किया कि वे पारदर्शिता, ईमानदारी और समर्पण की भावना से कार्य करें और समाज में शांति व सहयोग की संस्कृति को बढ़ावा दें।
जिला के अन्य उपमंडलों में भी अधिकारियों और कर्मचारियों ने सद्भावना शपथ ग्रहण की और पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री राजीव गांधी को श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की।
Dharamshala, August 20 – On the occasion of former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Rajiv Gandhi’s birth anniversary, Deputy Commissioner of Kangra, Hemraj Bairwa, administered the Sadbhavana Diwas pledge to officials and employees at the DC office premises. The gathering also paid floral tributes to Rajiv Gandhi.
The DC emphasized that the essence of Sadbhavana Diwas lies in promoting harmony, brotherhood, and national unity by rising above caste, religion, language, and regional differences. He urged officers and staff to work with transparency, honesty, and dedication while nurturing a culture of peace and cooperation in society.
Similar pledge ceremonies were also held at various sub-divisional offices across the district, where officials and employees paid homage to Rajiv Gandhi and reaffirmed their commitment to unity and goodwill.
