बरठीं क्षेत्र की समाजसेविका और साहित्यकार प्रोमिला कुमारी को समाजसेवा और साहित्य के क्षेत्र में उल्लेखनीय योगदान के लिए ए डब्ल्यू डब्ल्यू ए एक्सीलेंस अवार्ड 2025 से सम्मानित किया गया है। नई दिल्ली में आयोजित भव्य समारोह में ए डब्ल्यू डब्ल्यू ए की अध्यक्षा सुनीता द्विवेदी ने उन्हें यह सम्मान प्रदान किया।
प्रोमिला कुमारी कई वर्षों से समाजसेवा में सक्रिय हैं। वे महिलाओं को आत्मनिर्भर बनने के लिए प्रेरित करती रही हैं और नियमित रक्तदान के साथ-साथ कई सामाजिक संस्थाओं से जुड़ी हुई हैं। उनकी साहित्यिक रचनाएँ भी पाठकों के बीच लोकप्रिय हैं। उनकी पुस्तकें “मेरा दर्द मेरा साथी” और “साई सुन लो मेरी पुकार” अमेज़न पर उपलब्ध हैं और पाठकों से खूब सराहना प्राप्त कर रही हैं।
उन्हें पूर्व में भारत गौरव सम्मान, राष्ट्रीय हिन्दू रत्न पुरस्कार, राष्ट्र सेवा सम्मान और अंतरराष्ट्रीय महिला काव्य मंच जैसे कई सम्मानों से नवाजा जा चुका है। पुरस्कार प्राप्त कर उन्होंने कहा कि यह सम्मान उन सभी महिलाओं को समर्पित है जो समाज की सेवा में सदैव तत्पर रहती हैं।
Renowned social worker and writer Promila Kumari from Barthin has been honored with the prestigious AWWA Excellence Award 2025 for her remarkable contribution to social service and literature. The award was presented to her by Sunita Dwivedi, Chairperson of AWWA, during a grand ceremony held in New Delhi.
Promila Kumari has been dedicated to social service for several years. She has inspired women to become self-reliant and has actively participated in blood donation drives along with multiple social organizations. Apart from her social service, her literary talent has also been widely recognized. Her books “Mera Dard Mera Saathi” and “Sai Sun Lo Meri Pukaar” are available on Amazon and have received immense appreciation from readers.
She has earlier been felicitated with honors such as Bharat Gaurav Samman, National Hindu Ratna Award, Rashtriya Seva Samman, and recognition by the International Women’s Poetry Forum. On receiving this award, she expressed that it belongs not just to her but to every woman dedicated to the service of society.
