कुल्लू, 27 अगस्त। भारी वर्षा के कारण क्षतिग्रस्त कुल्लू-मनाली मार्ग की बहाली का कार्य जिला प्रशासन द्वारा तेजी से किया जा रहा है। उपायुक्त तोरुल एस. रवीश ने जानकारी दी कि पर्यटकों एवं स्थानीय लोगों की सुविधा के लिए छोटे वाहनों (Light Motor Vehicles) की आवाजाही अब कुल्लू से मनाली के अलेऊ तक शुरू कर दी गई है।
उन्होंने बताया कि होटल सरयाल एवं वैष्णो देवी माता मंदिर के आगे नेशनल हाईवे को बहाल कर दिया गया है। इस मार्ग से केवल छोटे वाहन रायसन पुल से वाया लेफ्ट बैंक होकर मनाली की ओर जा सकते हैं। हालांकि, अलेऊ के बाद सड़क क्षतिग्रस्त होने के कारण यातायात अभी भी आगे संभव नहीं है।
बड़े वाहनों (Heavy Motor Vehicles) की आवाजाही इस मार्ग पर पूरी तरह से प्रतिबंधित रहेगी। उपायुक्त ने बड़े वाहनों के चालकों को अपनी गाड़ियाँ 4 लेन मार्ग पर सुरक्षित स्थानों पर खड़ी रखने का आग्रह किया है।
उन्होंने वाहन चालकों और पर्यटकों से जिला प्रशासन एवं पुलिस द्वारा जारी यातायात निर्देशों का पालन करने की अपील की और कहा कि प्रशासन सभी के सहयोग से जल्द ही सड़क को पूरी तरह से बहाल करने का प्रयास कर रहा है।
Kullu-Manali Road Reopened for Light Vehicles
Kullu, August 27. After heavy rainfall damaged several stretches of the Kullu-Manali road, the district administration has restored partial connectivity. Deputy Commissioner Torul S. Ravish informed that light motor vehicles (LMVs) are now allowed to ply up to Aleu from Kullu via Left Bank road.
The road beyond Aleu remains damaged, making vehicle movement further impossible. The stretch near Hotel Saryal and Vaishno Devi Temple has been restored, but heavy motor vehicles (HMVs) are strictly prohibited due to narrow and unsafe conditions.
The DC appealed to all vehicle owners and tourists to strictly follow traffic advisories issued by the administration and police. He urged patience and cooperation, assuring that the administration is working tirelessly to ensure full road restoration at the earliest.
