धर्मशाला, 1 जुलाई — मुख्यमंत्री ठाकुर सुखविंदर सिंह सुक्खू ने आज धर्मशाला सर्किट हाउस में हिमाचल प्रदेश राज्य ऊन संघ के प्रतिनिधियों से भेंट की और गद्दी समुदाय तथा पशुपालकों की समस्याओं को लेकर गंभीरता से चर्चा की। इस दौरान मुख्यमंत्री ने आश्वासन दिया कि सरकार भेड़-बकरियों की हानि पर दी जाने वाली मुआवजा राशि को बढ़ाने पर विचार कर रही है।
उन्होंने कहा कि वर्तमान मुआवजा दरें वास्तविकता से मेल नहीं खातीं और सरकार चाहती है कि पशुपालकों को समय पर न्यायोचित राहत मिले। मुख्यमंत्री ने यह भी कहा कि सरकार गद्दी समुदाय की परंपरागत चराई भूमि के अधिकारों की पूर्ण सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करेगी और वन विभाग को निर्देश दिए गए हैं कि इन अधिकारों में कोई हस्तक्षेप न हो।
मुख्यमंत्री सुक्खू ने कहा कि गद्दी संस्कृति राज्य की पहचान का अभिन्न हिस्सा है और सरकार इसकी सांस्कृतिक विरासत को संरक्षित रखने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है। उन्होंने पशुधन आधारित आजीविका और ऊन उत्पादन को प्रोत्साहन देने के लिए नई योजनाओं की भी घोषणा की।
हिमाचल प्रदेश राज्य ऊन संघ के अध्यक्ष मनोज कुमार ने मुख्यमंत्री का आभार प्रकट करते हुए कहा कि पहली बार सरकार ने गद्दी समुदाय की जमीनी समस्याओं को गंभीरता से समझा है।
Dharamshala, July 1 — Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu met with representatives of the Himachal Pradesh State Wool Federation today at the Circuit House in Dharamshala. He assured the delegation that the state government is seriously considering increasing compensation for the loss of sheep and goats due to natural disasters or wildlife attacks.
CM Sukhu emphasized that the current compensation rates are inadequate and that timely and fair support must be provided to livestock owners. He also stated that traditional grazing rights of the Gaddi community will be fully protected and that the Forest Department has been directed not to interfere in these customary rights.
He described the Gaddi culture as an integral part of Himachal’s identity and assured that the government is committed to its preservation and welfare. New schemes are also being prepared to strengthen livestock-based livelihoods and promote wool production.
Wool Federation President Manoj Kumar thanked the Chief Minister and said that the government has truly understood the grassroots challenges of the Gaddi community for the first time.
