कोटखाई/नावर। शिक्षा मंत्री रोहित ठाकुर ने कहा कि खेल युवाओं के सर्वांगीण विकास में अहम भूमिका निभाते हैं। वे कोटखाई के बघाल में आयोजित स्व. नरिंदर पुंटा मेमोरियल वॉलीबाल टूर्नामेंट और नावर के रूद्र देवता क्रिकेट प्रतियोगिता के समापन समारोह में बतौर मुख्य अतिथि शामिल हुए।
उन्होंने कहा कि खेल युवाओं को अनुशासन, स्वास्थ्य और समाज सेवा से जोड़ते हैं और नशे से दूर रखते हैं। इस दौरान उन्होंने स्थानीय युवा मंडलों को ₹50,000 की आर्थिक सहायता देने की घोषणा भी की।
विकास कार्यों की जानकारी देते हुए उन्होंने बताया कि कोटखाई, क्यारवी और बाघी क्षेत्रों में ₹2.4 करोड़ की जल परियोजनाएं और ₹1.88 करोड़ की पेयजल योजनाएं तेजी से पूरी की जा रही हैं। इसके अलावा 400 केवी विद्युत सब स्टेशन की लाइन का कार्य भी युद्धस्तर पर जारी है।
बाघी स्थित रूट कंट्री स्कूल में उन्होंने जापान कराटे प्रतियोगिता में चयनित 20 छात्रों से संवाद किया और उनके उज्ज्वल भविष्य की कामना की।
Kotkhai/Navar: Education Minister Rohit Thakur emphasized the importance of sports in shaping youth during his visit to the Narinder Punta Memorial Volleyball Tournament in Baghal and Rudra Devta Cricket Tournament in Navar.
Thakur praised the efforts of the players and said sports instill discipline and keep youth away from drugs. He announced ₹50,000 for local youth clubs and encouraged them to remain active in community building.
Discussing development, he highlighted ongoing drinking water projects worth ₹2.4 crore, and a ₹1.88 crore water supply scheme nearing completion in Kotkhai, Kyari, and Baghi. He added that the 66 KV power line project will be finished before winter.
At Root Country School in Baghi, he interacted with 20 students selected for the 2025 All Japan International Karate Championship and wished them success.
