चंबा, 7 जुलाई। विधानसभा अध्यक्ष कुलदीप सिंह पठानिया की अध्यक्षता में उपायुक्त कार्यालय में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मिंजर मेला–2025 की तैयारियों पर समीक्षा बैठक आयोजित की गई। मेले का आयोजन 27 जुलाई से 3 अगस्त तक चौगान नंबर 1 में किया जाएगा।
बैठक में सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम, प्रदर्शनी, व्यय–आय प्रबंधन, यातायात, पार्किंग, साफ‑सफाई, पेयजल–विद्युत व्यवस्था और चौगान एवं कला केंद्र की मरम्मत के विवरण पर विचार विमर्श हुआ। पठानिया ने कहा कि मिंजर मेला चंबा की ऐतिहासिक पहचान है और इसका मूल स्वरूप एवं सांस्कृतिक गरिमा बनाए रखना सभी का दायित्व है।
उन्होंने चार हिमाचली, दो पंजाबी और दो बॉलीवुड सांस्कृतिक संध्याओं का आयोजन और स्थानीय कलाकारों को अधिक मंच देने के निर्णय का स्वागत किया। उपायुक्त मुकेश रेपसवाल ने मेला कार्यक्रम की रूपरेखा पेश की और उप‑समितियों की प्रगति रिपोर्ट दी।
पठानिया ने सभी अधिकारियों व कर्मचारियों से मिलकर सुखद एवं शांतिपूर्ण आयोजन सुनिश्चित करने का आग्रह किया। उन्होंने जन सहयोग की भी अपील की।
Chamba, July 7: A review meeting chaired by Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania was held at the Deputy Commissioner’s office to finalize arrangements for the International Minjar Mela–2025, scheduled from July 27 to August 3 at Chaugan No. 1.
The meeting addressed cultural performances, financial planning, traffic and parking management, sanitation, water and power supply, and restoration work at Chaugan and the art center. Pathania emphasized preserving the fair’s heritage and cultural essence.
He welcomed the decision to feature four Himachali, two Punjabi, and two Bollywood cultural evenings, with increased opportunities for local artists. Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repswal outlined the event schedule and updates from the organizing sub-committees.
Pathania urged all officials and staff to collaborate for a smooth and peaceful event, and called upon community participation to ensure success.
