शिमला, 08 जुलाई। मशोबरा ब्लॉक की पीएचसी ट्रहाई में सुविधाओं की भारी कमी के बावजूद डॉ. ईशान कौशल दिन-रात मरीजों को स्वास्थ्य सेवाएं प्रदान कर रहे हैं। पीरन पंचायत व सिरमौर जिला की सीमा से सटे कई गांवों के लिए यह प्राथमिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र जीवनरेखा बन चुका है।
हालांकि इस केंद्र में आपातकालीन सेवाओं का कोई सरकारी प्रावधान नहीं है, फिर भी डॉ. ईशान चौबीसों घंटे मरीजों के लिए उपलब्ध रहते हैं। देर रात डॉग बाइट, स्नेक बाइट व दुर्घटनाओं जैसी आपात स्थितियों में वे खुद इलाज के लिए तत्पर रहते हैं। उन्होंने अपनी व्यक्तिगत मोबाइल सेवा आमजन के लिए सार्वजनिक कर रखी है।
डॉ. ईशान ने बताया कि यह पीएचसी वर्ष 2016 से किराए के भवन में संचालित है। चार वर्ष पूर्व भवन निर्माण के लिए भूमि चिन्हित हो चुकी है, पर निर्माण कार्य अब तक लंबित है। वे शिविरों के माध्यम से मुफ्त ब्लड प्रेशर, शुगर परीक्षण करवाते हैं और आंगनबाड़ी तथा स्कूलों में टीकाकरण भी कराते हैं।
स्थानीय निवासी डॉ. ईशान को इस क्षेत्र में पहली बार समर्पित डॉक्टर मानते हैं और सरकार से लैब सुविधा देने की मांग कर रहे हैं।
Shimla, July 8. At the Primary Health Centre (PHC) in Trahi under Mashobra block, Dr. Ishan Kaushal has been offering round-the-clock medical services despite the lack of infrastructure. Residents of Pirhan Panchayat and nearby villages in Sirmaur district benefit from his dedication.
Although no official emergency services exist at this PHC, Dr. Ishan remains on call 24/7. From dog bites and snake bites to accident injuries, he treats emergency cases even during late hours. His personal mobile number is publicly available to ensure no patient is left helpless.
Operating since 2016 from a rented building, the PHC still awaits its own premises. Land for construction was identified four years ago, but work hasn’t started yet. Dr. Ishan organizes regular health camps offering free blood pressure and sugar tests and assists in vaccination programs in schools and Anganwadi centers.
Locals appreciate his unmatched service and urge the government to provide lab facilities to reduce dependency on Shimla or Solan for minor treatments.
