उपायुक्त किरण भड़ाना ने सोमवार को लाहौल-स्पीति जिला में आयोजित मंडे रिव्यू मीटिंग की तीसरी बैठक की अध्यक्षता की। बैठक का मुख्य उद्देश्य सरकार की जनकल्याणकारी योजनाओं और विकास कार्यों की समीक्षा करना और लंबित योजनाओं के शीघ्र क्रियान्वयन को सुनिश्चित करना रहा।
बैठक में प्रधानमंत्री जन विकास कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत चल रहे 11 विकास कार्यों पर चर्चा हुई। इसमें जिस्पा में छात्रावास निर्माण, गेस्ट हाउस की मुरम्मत, तथा नए प्रोजेक्ट्स के प्रस्ताव शामिल रहे। प्रधानमंत्री सूर्य घर योजना के तहत अब तक 15 आवेदनों की जानकारी दी गई, और योजना के प्रति जागरूकता बढ़ाने के निर्देश दिए गए।
केलांग व तांदी पंचायत में सूखा एवं प्लास्टिक कूड़ा एकत्रीकरण सप्ताह में तीन दिन शुरू किया जाएगा। गीले कूड़े से वर्मी कम्पोस्ट बनाने पर भी विचार चल रहा है।
त्रिलोकीनाथ सड़क, पर्यटक सुरक्षा बोर्ड, आवारा कुत्तों की नसबंदी, गौशाल गांव में पुस्तकालय, और ईको टूरिज्म पार्क, पैराग्लाइडिंग, हॉट मार्केट, वोल्वो बस सेवा आदि पर भी व्यापक चर्चा हुई। उपायुक्त ने संबंधित विभागों को समयबद्ध कार्रवाई के निर्देश दिए।

Deputy Commissioner Kiran Bhadana chaired the third Monday Review Meeting in Lahaul-Spiti, focusing on the implementation of welfare schemes and developmental progress in the district.
Feedback was taken on 11 projects under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Vikas Karyakram, including the ongoing hostel construction in Jispa and proposed repairs to a guest house. She also instructed officials to propose new projects under the scheme.
The Suryaghar Yojana saw 15 applicants so far, with DC instructing awareness drives to boost participation. Dry and plastic waste will be collected three times a week in Keylong and Tandi Panchayats. Plans for vermicomposting from wet waste are under consideration.
Warning signboards will be installed near rivers for tourist safety, and stray dog sterilization will begin soon. A pilot library will be set up in Gaushal village.
Other topics included Trilokinath road repair, eco-tourism parks, Volvo bus services, paragliding, weekly hot markets, and temple beautification, with clear directives issued for timely action.
