विधानसभा क्षेत्र 36-भोरंज के लिए मतदाता सूचियों के अद्यतन (नवीनीकरण) हेतु 21 जुलाई से 21 अगस्त तक चलने वाले विशेष अभियान की तैयारी को लेकर सोमवार को एक कार्यशाला का आयोजन किया गया। इसमें बूथ लेवल अधिकारियों (बीएलओ) और पर्यवेक्षकों को प्रशिक्षित किया गया।
एसडीएम एवं निर्वाचक रजिस्ट्रीकरण अधिकारी शशिपाल शर्मा ने बीएलओ को निर्देश दिए कि वे मतदाता सूची को त्रुटिरहित और अद्यतन बनाने के लिए घर-घर जाकर सत्यापन करें। इस अभियान के तहत नए पात्र मतदाताओं के नाम जोड़े जाएंगे, मृत अथवा स्थानांतरण कर चुके व्यक्तियों के नाम हटाए जाएंगे और विवरणों में सुधार किया जाएगा।
उन्होंने कहा कि सटीक मतदाता सूची लोकतंत्र की नींव है और इसकी ज़िम्मेदारी बीएलओ पर होती है। ईमानदारी, पारदर्शिता और समयबद्धता के साथ कार्य करना आवश्यक है।
कार्यशाला में कानूनगो ट्विंकल ठाकुर ने बीएलओ को फॉर्म भरने की तकनीकी जानकारी, मोबाइल ऐप उपयोग और डिजिटल प्रक्रिया की विस्तृत जानकारी दी।

A workshop was organized on Monday for Booth Level Officers (BLOs) and supervisors of Assembly Constituency 36-Bhoranj to train them for the upcoming special summary revision campaign of electoral rolls, scheduled from July 21 to August 21.
Sub-Divisional Magistrate and Electoral Registration Officer Shashipal Sharma directed BLOs to conduct door-to-door verification of voter details to ensure accuracy. The campaign will include adding names of newly eligible voters, removing names of deceased or relocated individuals, and correcting existing discrepancies in the voter lists.
Sharma emphasized that an accurate and error-free voter list is the foundation of democracy. He urged BLOs to carry out their duties with honesty, impartiality, and within the guidelines and timelines set by the Election Commission.
Twinkle Thakur, Kanungo from the Election Department, trained the officers in filling forms, using the official mobile app, and adopting digital methods for data collection.
