कुल्लू, 14 जुलाई।
शिमला समूह के अंतर्गत 1 एचपी एयर स्क्वाड्रन एनसीसी, कुल्लू द्वारा बबेली में दो रॉक क्लाइम्बिंग शिविरों का सफल आयोजन किया गया। ये शिविर 28 जून से 4 जुलाई और 7 जुलाई से 13 जुलाई 2025 तक दो चरणों में संपन्न हुए। शिविरों में शिमला, पटियाला, जालंधर, अमृतसर, लुधियाना, अंबाला, रोहतक और चंडीगढ़ से आए कुल 60 एनसीसी कैडेटों ने भाग लिया।
शिविर भारत-तिब्बत सीमा पुलिस (आईटीबीपी) की द्वितीय बटालियन, बबेली की देखरेख में आयोजित हुए, जहां अनुभवी प्रशिक्षकों ने कैडेटों को रैपलिंग, बेलेइंग, पर्वतीय नेविगेशन और गाँठ बांधने जैसी तकनीकों का प्रशिक्षण दिया।
विंग कमांडर कुणाल शर्मा, कमांडिंग ऑफिसर 1 एचपी एयर स्क्वाड्रन एनसीसी, कुल्लू ने कैंप कमांडेंट के रूप में इन शिविरों का नेतृत्व किया। प्रशिक्षण के दौरान टीम वर्क, अनुशासन, आत्मविश्वास और मानसिक दृढ़ता पर विशेष ध्यान दिया गया।
प्राकृतिक और चुनौतीपूर्ण भौगोलिक परिस्थितियों के बीच आयोजित ये शिविर कैडेटों के शारीरिक और मानसिक विकास के लिए अत्यंत उपयोगी सिद्ध हुए। इस आयोजन की सराहना एनसीसी अधिकारियों और प्रतिभागियों द्वारा की गई, जिसने युवाओं में साहस, नेतृत्व और राष्ट्रीय सेवा की भावना को सुदृढ़ किया।
Kullu, July 14
Under the aegis of the Shimla Group, the 1 HP Air Squadron NCC Kullu successfully organized two rock climbing camps at the scenic and challenging training site of Babeli. The camps were held in two batches—from June 28 to July 4, and July 7 to July 13, 2025.
A total of 60 NCC cadets from units across Shimla, Patiala, Jalandhar, Amritsar, Ludhiana, Ambala, Rohtak, and Chandigarh participated. The camps were conducted under the professional supervision of the 2nd Battalion of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), whose instructors provided expert guidance on rock climbing techniques and safety.
Led by Wing Commander Kunal Sharma, Commanding Officer of 1 HP Air Squadron NCC, cadets received comprehensive training in knot tying, belaying, rappelling, and mountain navigation. Emphasis was laid on teamwork, discipline, and resilience.
These camps provided cadets with a unique platform to develop survival and adventure skills while testing their physical and mental limits in a rugged natural setting. The initiative was widely appreciated by cadets and NCC officials alike for nurturing leadership, courage, and adventure among Indian youth.
