जिला हमीरपुर में मंगलवार को मुख्य चिकित्सा अधिकारी डॉ. प्रवीण चौधरी की अध्यक्षता में जिला स्तरीय मासिक मूल्यांकन बैठक का आयोजन किया गया। बैठक का आयोजन सीएमओ कार्यालय के कॉन्फ्रेंस हॉल में हुआ, जिसमें जिला स्वास्थ्य अधिकारी डॉ. अजय अत्री, कार्यक्रम अधिकारी डॉ. सुनील वर्मा, डॉ. राकेश ठाकुर, खंड चिकित्सा अधिकारी, स्वास्थ्य शिक्षक, पर्यवेक्षक, लेखाकार व ब्लॉक प्रोग्राम मैनेजर मौजूद रहे।
सीएमओ ने प्रधानमंत्री सुरक्षित मातृत्व अभियान के तहत गर्भवती महिलाओं के नियमित स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण पर बल दिया और निर्देश दिए कि कोई भी महिला जांच से वंचित न रहे। उन्होंने प्रवासी मजदूरों को परिवार नियोजन पर परामर्श देने और लाभार्थियों का डेटा पोर्टल पर दर्ज करने के निर्देश भी दिए।
बच्चों को जन्म के एक घंटे के भीतर मां का दूध पिलाने और 6 से 59 माह के बच्चों को आयरन सिरप देने की सख्त हिदायत दी गई। इसके अतिरिक्त राष्ट्रीय बाल स्वास्थ्य कार्यक्रम की टीमों को स्कूलों में मध्याह्न भोजन और पानी की टंकियों की जांच के भी निर्देश दिए गए।
बरसात के मौसम में जलजनित और नेत्र रोगों से बचाव हेतु खंड स्तर पर जागरूकता अभियान चलाने का सुझाव भी सीएमओ ने दिया। बैठक में सभी विभागीय अधिकारियों ने स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं को और बेहतर बनाने की दिशा में संकल्प व्यक्त किया।

A monthly district-level health review meeting was held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Dr. Praveen Chaudhary at the CMO office conference hall in Hamirpur. The meeting was attended by District Health Officer Dr. Ajay Atri, Program Officers Dr. Sunil Verma and Dr. Rakesh Thakur, Block Medical Officers, Health Educators, Supervisors, Accountants, and Block Program Managers.
The CMO emphasized the importance of proper health checkups for pregnant women under the Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matritva Abhiyan (PMSMA) and directed that no woman should be left out. He also instructed staff to counsel migrant workers about family planning and ensure all beneficiaries are registered on the government portal.
He highlighted that newborns must be breastfed within the first hour and children between 6 to 59 months must be given Iron syrup as per guidelines.
Further, school visits under the Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) must include checks on mid-day meals and water tank hygiene. Awareness campaigns about monsoon-related diseases and eye infections were also advised.
The meeting concluded with a collective resolve to strengthen healthcare services across the district.
