चंडीगढ़ की ग्रामीण शिक्षा व्यवस्था के लिए कार्यरत संस्था रूरल एजुकेशन वेलफेयर एसोसिएशन (रेवा) ने भारतीय जनता पार्टी के चंडीगढ़ प्रदेश अध्यक्ष जतिंदर पाल मल्होत्रा को प्रशासक सलाहकार परिषद की शिक्षा स्थायी समिति का चेयरमैन नियुक्त किए जाने पर उन्हें बधाई दी है।
रेवा संस्था के प्रधान वी. बी. कपिल की अध्यक्षता में संस्था के प्रतिनिधियों ने मल्होत्रा से भेंट कर उन्हें अपनी समस्याओं से अवगत कराया। संस्था ने बताया कि ग्रामीण क्षेत्र के कम शुल्क वाले स्कूल गरीब व वंचित वर्ग के बच्चों को गुणवत्तापूर्ण शिक्षा दे रहे हैं, लेकिन कई वर्षों से वे मान्यता और अन्य समस्याओं का सामना कर रहे हैं।
संस्था का कहना है कि शिक्षा का अधिकार अधिनियम (RTE) के तहत स्कूलों की मान्यता अनिवार्य है, लेकिन प्रशासनिक प्रक्रिया और नीति अस्पष्टताओं के कारण स्कूल संचालकों को परेशानी हो रही है।
मल्होत्रा ने आश्वासन दिया कि ग्रामीण क्षेत्र के स्कूलों की समस्याओं का समाधान शीघ्र किया जाएगा। उन्होंने सभी स्कूलों से आग्रह किया कि वे शिक्षा के स्तर को बेहतर बनाएं, बच्चों को अच्छे संस्कार दें और समाज निर्माण में सहयोग करें।
रेवा संस्था सहित सभी स्कूल संचालकों ने जताया विश्वास कि जतिंदर पाल मल्होत्रा के नेतृत्व में स्कूलों की वर्षों पुरानी समस्याओं का समाधान होगा।

The Rural Education Welfare Association (REWA) has congratulated Jatinder Pal Malhotra, BJP President of Chandigarh, on being appointed as the Chairman of the Education Standing Committee under the Administrator’s Advisory Council.
In a meeting led by REWA President V.B. Kapil, the association members shared the challenges faced by rural schools that serve underprivileged children at minimal fees. They emphasized that despite providing quality education, many schools are still struggling for formal recognition under the Right to Education (RTE) Act.
Malhotra assured the delegation that solutions to rural schools’ long-standing problems would be prioritized, and necessary administrative support will be extended soon.
He also encouraged all school operators to focus on improving infrastructure, maintaining high education standards, and imparting moral values to children.
REWA expressed strong confidence in Malhotra’s leadership and welcomed his appointment with optimism, hoping that his role will bring long-awaited reforms in rural education across Chandigarh.
