अवैध खनन पर आधी रात को प्रशासन की बड़ी कार्रवाई
तीन टिप्पर और एक पोकलेन जब्त, डीसी जतिन लाल के नेतृत्व में छापेमारी
ऊना, 25 जुलाई 2025 — ऊना जिला प्रशासन ने वीरवार रात एक साहसिक कार्रवाई करते हुए अवैध एवं अवैज्ञानिक खनन पर शिकंजा कसा। उपायुक्त जतिन लाल की अगुवाई में यह अभियान स्वां नदी क्षेत्र में चलाया गया, जहां रात 12 बजे खनन विभाग व पुलिस टीम ने संयुक्त औचक निरीक्षण किया।
इस दौरान अवैध खनन करते पाए गए तीन टिप्पर और एक पोकलेन मशीन को मौके पर जब्त किया गया। पुलिस सहायता से इन वाहनों को मैहतपुर थाने के माध्यम से पुलिस लाइन झलेड़ा में सुरक्षित रखा गया है।
डीसी जतिन लाल ने कहा कि जिला प्रशासन अवैध खनन के प्रति ‘शून्य सहनशीलता नीति’ (Zero Tolerance Policy) पर कार्य कर रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि पर्यावरणीय असंतुलन और प्राकृतिक संसाधनों की लूट को किसी भी कीमत पर बर्दाश्त नहीं किया जाएगा।
इस कार्रवाई में जिला खनन अधिकारी नीरज कांत सहित अन्य अधिकारी शामिल रहे। उपायुक्त ने संकेत दिया कि भविष्य में भी इसी प्रकार की औचक कार्रवाइयाँ जारी रहेंगी ताकि प्रदेश की पर्यावरणीय धरोहर को बचाया जा सके।

Three Tippers and One Poklen Seized Under DC Jatin Lal’s Supervision
Una, July 25, 2025 — In a decisive step against illegal and unscientific mining, the Una district administration carried out a surprise midnight raid under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal. The team from the mining department, assisted by local police, inspected the Swan River area in Fatehpur at midnight.
During the raid, three tippers and one Poklen machine were found involved in illegal mining activities. The vehicles were seized on the spot and transported to Police Line Jhaleda via Mehatpur police station.
DC Jatin Lal emphasized that the administration is working with a Zero Tolerance Policy against illegal mining. He stated that safeguarding natural resources and ensuring environmental balance is a top priority, and such surprise inspections will continue.
District Mining Officer Neeraj Kant and other officials accompanied the DC during the operation. The administration has made it clear that strict action will be taken against those damaging the environment.
