कुल्लू में कारगिल विजय दिवस पर वीर सपूतों को नमन
कुल्लू, 26 जुलाई 2025: कारगिल विजय दिवस की 26वीं वर्षगांठ पर कुल्लू के बहुउद्देश्यीय भवन में एक भावभीन श्रद्धांजलि कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया। कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता उपायुक्त श्रीमती तोरुल एस. रवीश ने की।
इस अवसर पर 1999 के कारगिल युद्ध में शहीद हुए वीर जवानों को देशभक्ति गीतों, वक्तव्यों और पुष्पांजलि कार्यक्रमों के माध्यम से याद किया गया।
उपायुक्त ने उपस्थित नागरिकों को देश की एकता, अखंडता और सेवा भाव की शपथ दिलाई। उन्होंने कहा कि “भारतीय सेना का शौर्य हर भारतीय को गर्व से भर देता है। हमारे भूतपूर्व सैनिक सदैव सेवा को तत्पर रहते हैं और प्रशासन को उनका सहयोग गर्व की बात है।”
उन्होंने हिमाचल प्रदेश के जवानों की बहादुरी की सराहना करते हुए कुल्लू जिला के शकरोली गांव के शहीद हवलदार डोला राम के बलिदान को श्रद्धापूर्वक याद किया और उनकी प्रतिमा पर पुष्पांजलि अर्पित की।
उपायुक्त ने बताया कि जिला शहीद स्मारक का कार्य अंतिम चरण में है और आगामी एक माह में इसका उद्घाटन होगा। साथ ही, उन्होंने जिला सोल्जर बोर्ड की बैठक भी शीघ्र आयोजित करने की बात कही।
एक्स सर्विसमैन लीग के अध्यक्ष ब्रिगेडियर (से.नि.) टेक चंद ठाकुर ने भी अपने विचार रखे और कारगिल युद्ध के पराक्रम की जानकारी साझा की।
कार्यक्रम में ADC अश्विनी कुमार, सैनिक कल्याण निदेशक जयवंती ठाकुर, पूर्व सैनिक संगठन के पदाधिकारी और गणमान्य नागरिक उपस्थित रहे।
Kullu Honors Kargil Heroes on 26th Vijay Diwas
Kullu, July 26, 2025: On the 26th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas, a solemn tribute ceremony was held at the Multipurpose Hall, Kullu, to honor the brave soldiers of the 1999 Kargil War. The event was presided over by Deputy Commissioner Mrs. Torul S. Ravish.
The program featured patriotic songs, speeches, and floral tributes offered to the martyrs. The DC administered an oath of national unity and commitment to all attendees.
She expressed that the valor of the Indian Army instills pride and security in every citizen, and former soldiers always support the administration in every situation.
The DC specially mentioned Havaldar Dola Ram from Shakaroli village, who laid down his life during the war, and offered floral tribute at his statue.
She announced that the Kullu district war memorial is nearly complete and will be inaugurated within a month. A District Soldier Board meeting will also be organized soon.
Brigadier (Retd.) Tek Chand Thakur, President of the Ex-Servicemen League, also addressed the gathering, sharing stories of courage from the war.
The ceremony was attended by ADC Ashwini Kumar, Director of Soldiers’ Welfare Jaywanti Thakur, ex-servicemen, and other dignitaries.
