पैदल पहुंचे उपायुक्त, राहत कार्यों का लिया जायजा

जिला मंडी में हालिया आपदा के बाद प्रभावित क्षेत्रों तक सहायता पहुंचाने के लिए उपायुक्त अपूर्व देवगन लगातार फील्ड में सक्रिय हैं। शनिवार को उन्होंने सराज क्षेत्र के थुनाग के देजी, पखरैर, रीला, लांबसाफड़, मरहाला, कसवाली और घिंडी गांवों में लगभग 12 किलोमीटर पैदल यात्रा कर लोगों से मुलाकात की और राहत एवं पुनर्वास कार्यों का जायजा लिया।
उपायुक्त ने बताया कि जिला प्रशासन हर प्रभावित व्यक्ति तक राहत सामग्री और सेवाएं पहुंचाने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है। उन्होंने लोगों को आश्वस्त किया कि सभी विभाग युद्ध स्तर पर कार्य कर रहे हैं ताकि जनजीवन सामान्य हो सके।
इस दौरान उपायुक्त ने कसवाली गांव में प्राथमिक और माध्यमिक पाठशाला का निरीक्षण भी किया और स्कूलों में मूलभूत सुविधाओं की स्थिति को देखा। उन्होंने सड़क, पानी और बिजली की बहाली कार्यों की प्रगति की समीक्षा करते हुए संबंधित विभागों को तेजी लाने के निर्देश दिए।
उपायुक्त ने कहा कि यह संकट की घड़ी है और प्रशासन, जनता के साथ कंधे से कंधा मिलाकर खड़ा है। राहत कार्यों में गति लाने हेतु स्थानीय प्रशासन को सक्रिय रूप से समन्वय करने को कहा गया है।
DC Mandi Walks 12 km to Assess Relief in Remote Villages
Mandi, July 26:
To speed up relief and rehabilitation efforts in flood-affected areas, Deputy Commissioner Apoorv Devgan undertook a 12-kilometer trek through the remote villages of Deji, Pakhrair, Rila, Lambsafad, Marhala, Kaswali, and Ghindi in Thunag.
He directly interacted with the locals, assessed the status of road, electricity, and water restoration, and assured full support from the district administration. He emphasized that every possible effort is being made to deliver relief under the directions of the state government.
DC Devgan also inspected primary and middle schools in Kaswali, checking the availability of essential services. He urged concerned departments to expedite restoration work and maintain close coordination to bring normalcy at the earliest.
Highlighting the importance of direct communication, he said, “It is our responsibility to stand with the people in this difficult time.” The field visit underlines the administration’s commitment to on-ground action in disaster-hit areas.
