जिला मंडी के सराज और नाचन क्षेत्रों में प्रभावित विद्युत आपूर्ति को बहाल करने के लिए पंडोह-गोहर 33 केवी लाइन की मरम्मत का कार्य युद्धस्तर पर जारी है। मंगलवार को हुई भीषण वर्षा के कारण यह लाइन गंभीर रूप से क्षतिग्रस्त हो गई थी, जिससे क्षेत्र के 500 से अधिक ट्रांसफार्मर बंद हो गए और हजारों उपभोक्ताओं को बिजली संकट का सामना करना पड़ा।
अधिशाषी अभियंता सुमित चौहान ने बताया कि इस लाइन से नाचन और सराज विधानसभा क्षेत्रों की विद्युत आपूर्ति नियंत्रित होती है। अस्थायी राहत के रूप में आपूर्ति को बग्गी सब-स्टेशन से जोड़ दिया गया है, लेकिन लोड अधिक होने के कारण ट्रिपिंग और कटौती की समस्या बनी हुई है।
उन्होंने कहा कि टीमों को मौके पर भेजा गया है और खराब मौसम के बावजूद कर्मचारी लगातार फील्ड में कार्य कर रहे हैं। विभाग का लक्ष्य है कि आज सायं तक लाइन की बहाली पूरी कर ली जाए, ताकि बिजली आपूर्ति निरंतर और स्थिर हो सके।

Restoration work on the 33KV Pandoh-Gohar power line is underway at war footing, following major damage caused by heavy rainfall on Tuesday. This crucial line supplies electricity to over 500 transformers across the Seraj and Nachan constituencies, and its breakdown has led to widespread power outages in the region.
Executive Engineer Sumit Chauhan informed that while temporary power supply has been routed via the Baggi Substation, its limited load capacity has led to frequent tripping and power cuts during peak hours.
Despite harsh weather conditions, departmental staff are working continuously in the field to restore the line. The department aims to fully restore the power line by this evening, ensuring stable and uninterrupted power supply to the affected population.
