एचपीयू में शिक्षकों का वेतन को लेकर प्रदर्शन
शिमला, 7 अगस्त। हिमाचल प्रदेश विश्वविद्यालय (एचपीयू) के शिक्षकों और कर्मचारियों ने आज वेतन में देरी को लेकर जोरदार प्रदर्शन किया। अगस्त का पहला सप्ताह समाप्त होने को है, लेकिन अभी तक विश्वविद्यालय के कर्मचारियों को वेतन नहीं मिला है, जिससे उनमें भारी रोष है।
प्रदर्शन कर रहे शिक्षकों का कहना था कि सरकार की उदासीनता अब बर्दाश्त से बाहर हो चुकी है। एक शिक्षक ने कहा, “हर महीने वेतन का इंतजार करते-करते अब हालात ऐसे हो गए हैं कि घर चलाना मुश्किल हो गया है।”
कर्मचारियों ने आरोप लगाया कि यह कोई पहली बार नहीं है जब वेतन में देरी हुई हो। इससे पहले भी उन्हें सड़कों पर उतरना पड़ा है। उन्होंने सवाल उठाया कि जब सरकार शिक्षा जैसे महत्वपूर्ण विभाग के साथ ऐसा व्यवहार कर रही है, तो बाकी क्षेत्रों की हालत क्या होगी?
प्रदर्शन में भाग लेने वालों ने सरकार से अपील की है कि समय पर वेतन सुनिश्चित किया जाए और शिक्षकों की गरिमा का सम्मान हो।
HPU Teachers Protest Over Delay in Salary Disbursement
Shimla, August 7 – Faculty members and staff of Himachal Pradesh University (HPU) held a protest today in Shimla over the non-payment of salaries for the month of July. With the first week of August ending, staff expressed frustration at repeated delays in salary disbursement.
Teachers stated that they await their salaries at the beginning of every month, but the government’s negligence has made household management difficult. “This is not the first time we’ve had to protest. It’s becoming a recurring issue,” said one protesting teacher.
The protesting staff questioned the government’s seriousness towards education and demanded that regular and timely salaries be ensured. They emphasized that if such treatment is being given to the education sector, the condition of other sectors might be worse.
The teachers urged the government to take immediate corrective action and respect the dignity of educators by ensuring financial stability and timely remuneration.
