शिमला: नेता प्रतिपक्ष जयराम ठाकुर ने सुक्खू सरकार पर तीखा हमला बोलते हुए कहा कि कांग्रेस ने झूठी गारंटियां देकर सत्ता हथियाई और अब उनसे खुद भाग रही है। उन्होंने कहा कि विधानसभा चुनाव में कांग्रेस ने 10 गारंटियां दीं, लेकिन ढाई साल में उल्टे कदम उठाए।
जयराम ठाकुर ने आरोप लगाया कि 5 लाख युवाओं को रोजगार और पहली कैबिनेट में 1 लाख नौकरियां देने का वादा करने वाली सरकार ने डेढ़ लाख पद समाप्त कर दिए और 15,000 से अधिक कर्मचारियों को नौकरी से हटा दिया। बिजली पर वादा तोड़ते हुए 125 यूनिट मुफ्त बिजली खत्म कर दी और 300 यूनिट पर सब्सिडी भी समाप्त कर दी, जिससे बिजली महंगी हो गई।
महिलाओं को ₹1500 देने, युवाओं को स्टार्टअप फंड और किसानों को समय पर दूध का भुगतान करने की गारंटी भी अधूरी रही। ठाकुर ने कहा कि यह जनता के विश्वास के साथ विश्वासघात और लोकतांत्रिक मूल्यों का अपमान है। कांग्रेस को हिमाचल की जनता से माफी मांगनी चाहिए।
Shimla: Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur has accused the Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu-led Congress government of betraying the public by securing power through false guarantees and later abandoning them. He said that during the Assembly elections, Congress made 10 major promises, but in two and a half years, took actions in the opposite direction.
Thakur alleged that despite promising 5 lakh jobs and 1 lakh government jobs in the first Cabinet meeting, the government abolished 1.5 lakh posts and terminated over 15,000 employees. He further claimed that the government withdrew the existing 125 units of free electricity and removed subsidies on 300 units, increasing electricity costs.
He also pointed out failures in fulfilling promises such as ₹1500 to women, startup funds for youth, and timely payment for milk to farmers. Thakur called it a betrayal of public trust and an insult to democratic values, demanding that Congress apologise to the people of Himachal Pradesh.
