सुंदरनगर। रक्षा बंधन के पावन अवसर पर एंजल्स पब्लिक स्कूल, सुंदरनगर के चार छात्रों को नई दिल्ली स्थित राष्ट्रपति भवन में भारत की राष्ट्रपति महामहिम द्रौपदी मुर्मू द्वारा सम्मानित किया गया। यह सम्मान हिंदुस्तान स्काउट एंड गाइड शिविर में उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन के लिए दिया गया। कक्षा आठ के छात्र दीक्षित, अदिति, शशांक और याजवी, तथा उनके समन्वयक डॉ. रितिका कौशल को इस विशेष अवसर के लिए चुना गया।
विद्यालय की प्रधानाचार्या, श्रीमती सरू कौशल ने बताया कि बच्चों ने राष्ट्रपति को हिमाचल की पारंपरिक टोपी भेंट की और हिमाचल आने का आमंत्रण दिया। राष्ट्रपति ने अपने संदेश में सभी को पर्यावरण संरक्षण के लिए एक पेड़ लगाने और लोगों को जागरूक करने की प्रेरणा दी।
सम्मान प्राप्त कर लौटने पर विद्यालय परिसर में छात्रों का जोरदार स्वागत हुआ। इस सम्मान ने न केवल विद्यालय का मान बढ़ाया बल्कि पूरे सुंदरनगर क्षेत्र के लिए गर्व का क्षण बना।
Sundernagar: On the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan, four students from Angels Public School, Sundernagar, were honored at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi, by the Hon’ble President of India, Droupadi Murmu. This recognition was awarded for their outstanding performance in the Hindustan Scouts and Guides camp. The honored students—Dixit, Aditi, Shashank, and Yajvi of Class 8—along with their coordinator, Dr. Ritika Kaushal, represented the school with pride.
School Principal, Mrs. Saru Kaushal, shared that the students presented the President with a traditional Himachali cap and invited her to visit Himachal Pradesh. The President encouraged everyone to plant at least one tree and raise awareness about environmental conservation.
Upon their return, the students received a grand welcome at the school. This honor became a proud moment for the institution and the entire Sundernagar region.
