ऊना, 17 अगस्त। नगर निगम ऊना द्वारा संचालित डीसिल्टिंग अभियान लगातार दूसरे दिन भी जारी रहा। यह विशेष सफाई कार्य नगर निगम आयुक्त एवं अतिरिक्त उपायुक्त (एडीसी) महेंद्र पाल गुर्जर की देखरेख में किया जा रहा है।
रविवार को वार्ड नंबर 1 के टक्का रोड स्थित शीतला माता मंदिर और अंब रोड की फ्रेंड्स कॉलोनी में नालियों से गाद हटाने का कार्य किया गया। इस दौरान आयुक्त महेंद्र पाल गुर्जर स्वयं मौके पर पहुंचे और चल रही सफाई गतिविधियों का निरीक्षण किया।
उन्होंने बताया कि हाल की भारी बारिश के कारण नालियों में दोबारा गाद भर गई थी। नगर निगम का यह अभियान सुनिश्चित करेगा कि शहरवासियों को जलभराव और गंदगी की समस्या से राहत मिले। इसके लिए पर्याप्त मशीनरी और कर्मचारियों को प्रभावित क्षेत्रों में प्राथमिकता के आधार पर लगाया गया है।
इससे पहले शनिवार को लोअर अरन्याला और टक्का रोड क्षेत्र में भी तीन जेसीबी मशीनों और सफाई कर्मियों की मदद से नालियों की सफाई की गई थी। यह कार्य सैनिटरी सुपरवाइज़र विजय कुमार और उनकी टीम की देखरेख में सम्पन्न हुआ।
Una, August 17. The desilting campaign initiated by the Una Municipal Corporation continued for the second consecutive day under the supervision of Municipal Commissioner & ADC Mahendra Pal Gurjar.
On Sunday, cleaning operations were carried out near Sheetla Mata Temple on Takkar Road and in Friends Colony on Amb Road. Commissioner Gurjar personally visited the sites to monitor the progress.
He stated that due to heavy rainfall, silt had once again accumulated in the drains, leading to the need for a special cleanliness drive. The campaign aims to ensure that residents do not face waterlogging or sanitation issues during the monsoon. Adequate machinery and workforce have been deployed to affected areas on a priority basis.
A day earlier, on Saturday, similar desilting work was carried out in Lower Arnyala and Takkar Road areas with the help of three JCB machines and sanitation staff under the supervision of Sanitary Supervisor Vijay Kumar and his team.
