गोरडा पंचायत में पर्यावरण संरक्षण के उद्देश्य से आयोजित कार्यक्रम में शाहपुर के विधायक एवं उपमुख्य सचेतक केवल सिंह पठानिया ने पौधारोपण कर सभी को स्वच्छ वातावरण का संदेश दिया। उन्होंने शिव मंदिर परिसर में आंवले का पौधा लगाकर कहा कि पेड़ लगाना और उनकी देखभाल करना हमारी सामूहिक जिम्मेदारी है। उन्होंने अपील की कि प्रत्येक परिवार अपने नाम से पौधा लगाकर उसकी सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करे।
कार्यक्रम के दौरान उन्होंने गोरडा स्थित तालाब के सौंदर्यकरण के लिए 11 लाख रुपये की घोषणा की। साथ ही नाहलन और मछलान महिला मंडलों को 11-11 हजार रुपये की धनराशि भेंट की। पठानिया ने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए कि वे ग्रामीणों की समस्याओं को मौके पर जाकर सुनें और समयबद्ध समाधान सुनिश्चित करें।
एटीसी शाहपुर द्वारा संचालित “एक पेड़ अपने नाम” और “एक पेड़ मां के नाम” अभियान में बच्चों और वरिष्ठ नागरिकों ने उत्साहपूर्वक पौधे लगाए। पंचायत प्रतिनिधियों और नागरिकों ने विधायक का धन्यवाद व्यक्त किया।

A significant plantation drive was organized in Gorada Panchayat under the “Ek Ped Apne Naam” campaign, where Shahpur MLA and Deputy Chief Whip, Kewal Singh Pathania, participated as the chief guest. He planted an Amla sapling in the premises of Shiv Mandir, spreading a strong message of environmental conservation.
Addressing the gathering, MLA Pathania said that planting trees and ensuring their protection is our collective responsibility. He urged every family to plant a tree in their name and take care of it for future generations to breathe clean air.
During the event, he announced ₹11 lakh for the beautification of Gorada pond and also gifted ₹11,000 each to Nahlan and Machhlan Mahila Mandals. Under the campaign, senior citizens planted saplings and children from eco-clubs actively participated.
Local representatives and officials expressed gratitude towards the MLA for his continuous efforts in rural development and environmental protection.
