मंडी, 25 अगस्त। जिला दंडाधिकारी एवं जिला आपदा प्रबंधन प्राधिकरण के अध्यक्ष अपूर्व देवगन ने आदेश जारी किए हैं कि 26 अगस्त, 2025 को मंडी जिला के सभी सरकारी व निजी शैक्षणिक संस्थान, आईटीआई, व्यावसायिक संस्थान, डीआईईटी और आंगनबाड़ी केंद्र बंद रहेंगे। इन आदेशों से केवल आवासीय विश्वविद्यालय और मेडिकल कॉलेजों को छूट दी गई है।
भारत मौसम विज्ञान विभाग ने मंडी के लिए 25 और 26 अगस्त को रेड अलर्ट जारी किया है। विभाग ने भारी से अत्यधिक भारी वर्षा की चेतावनी दी है, जिससे भूस्खलन, बाढ़ और सड़कों के अवरुद्ध होने का खतरा बढ़ गया है। लगातार बारिश से नदियों-नालों का जलस्तर भी खतरनाक स्तर तक बढ़ गया है।
जिला प्रशासन ने छात्रों और नागरिकों की सुरक्षा को ध्यान में रखते हुए यह निर्णय लिया है। साथ ही सभी संस्थानों के प्रमुखों को शिक्षा सचिव द्वारा जारी दिशा-निर्देशों का पालन करने के निर्देश दिए गए हैं। प्रशासन ने लोगों से अपील की है कि वे सतर्क रहें और अनावश्यक यात्रा से बचें।
Mandi, August 25. The District Magistrate and Chairman of the District Disaster Management Authority, Apoorv Devgan, has ordered the closure of all schools, private and government educational institutions, ITIs, vocational centers, DIETs, and Anganwadi centers in Mandi on August 26, 2025. Residential universities and medical colleges have been exempted.
The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for August 25 and 26, warning of heavy to extremely heavy rainfall, leading to possible landslides, flash floods, and road blockages. Continuous rain has already raised the water level of rivers and streams, increasing the risk to life and property.
Keeping student safety as the top priority, the district administration has taken this precautionary measure. All institution heads have also been directed to follow the guidelines issued by the Education Secretary of Himachal Pradesh. Citizens have been advised to stay cautious and avoid unnecessary travel.
