केंद्रीय राज्य मंत्री (बंदरगाह, नौवहन और जलमार्ग) शांतनु ठाकुर ने बंजार विधानसभा क्षेत्र के अंतर्गत गुशैनी, तीर्थन और सैंज का दौरा कर आपदा प्रभावित क्षेत्रों में हुए नुकसान का जायजा लिया। उन्होंने आपदा पीड़ितों की समस्याएँ सुनीं और भरोसा दिलाया कि माननीय प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के मार्गदर्शन में केंद्र व राज्य सरकार मिलकर जल्द से जल्द सामान्य स्थिति बहाल करने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध हैं।
शांतनु ठाकुर ने जानकारी दी कि 20 जून से 12 सितंबर तक 386 लोगों की जान गई, 451 घायल हुए और 41 अभी भी लापता हैं। इस दौरान हजारों मकान पूरी तरह या आंशिक रूप से क्षतिग्रस्त हुए। उन्होंने कहा कि यह हिमाचल प्रदेश के लिए बहुत बड़ी क्षति है जिसकी भरपाई संभव नहीं है।
राज्य मंत्री ने बताया कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने हाल ही में हिमाचल आकर आपदा प्रभावित परिवारों से मुलाकात की और तत्काल 1500 करोड़ रुपये की राहत राशि स्वीकृत की। मोदी सरकार ने पिछले 11 वर्षों में SDRF फंड में 3190.39 करोड़ और NDRF फंड में 2684.88 करोड़ रुपये उपलब्ध कराए हैं, जो कांग्रेस सरकार के कार्यकाल से कई गुना अधिक है।
उन्होंने कहा कि हिमाचल वासियों का धैर्य और साहस प्रेरणादायक है। केंद्र सरकार हर कदम पर प्रदेश सरकार के साथ खड़ी है ताकि प्रभावित क्षेत्रों में जीवन जल्दी से जल्दी सामान्य हो सके।
Kullu, September 13 – Union Minister of State for Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Shantanu Thakur, visited Gushaini, Tirthan, and Sainj under Banjar Assembly constituency to review the damage caused in disaster-affected areas. He listened to the grievances of the affected families and assured them that, under the guidance of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi, both the Central and State governments are committed to restoring normalcy at the earliest.
Shantanu Thakur informed that between June 20 and September 12, 386 people lost their lives, 451 were injured, and 41 are still missing. During this period, thousands of houses were either completely destroyed or partially damaged. He said this is a huge loss for Himachal Pradesh, which cannot be compensated fully.
The Minister stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently visited Himachal Pradesh, met the disaster-affected families, and immediately approved a relief package of ₹1,500 crore. He further added that in the past 11 years, the Modi government has provided ₹3,190.39 crore under the SDRF fund and ₹2,684.88 crore under the NDRF fund, which is several times higher compared to the Congress government’s tenure.
He emphasized that the courage and patience of the people of Himachal are truly inspiring. The Central Government stands firmly with the State Government at every step to ensure that life in the affected areas returns to normal as quickly as possible.
