केंद्रीय राज्य मंत्री महिला एवं बाल विकास सावित्री ठाकुर ने मनाली, बंजार एवं सैंज क्षेत्रों का दौरा कर आपदा से प्रभावित इलाकों का हाल जाना। उन्होंने पुरानी मनाली में नालसू और मनालसू नाला के आसपास बसे गांवों में जाकर स्थानीय लोगों की कठिनाइयों को समझा। सावित्री ठाकुर ने कहा कि “माननीय प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी स्वयं इस आपदा को लेकर चिंतित हैं और प्रभावित परिवारों के पुनर्वास व सहायता के लिए केंद्र सरकार पूरी प्रतिबद्धता के साथ कार्य कर रही है।”
उन्होंने सोलंग, पलचांग, समाहड़ और बहांग जैसे गांवों में बादल फटने और बाढ़ से हुए नुकसान का जायजा लिया। सीमा सड़क संगठन (बीआरओ) और एनएचएआई इन क्षेत्रों में सड़क बहाली और सुधार कार्यों में तेजी से जुटे हुए हैं ताकि लोगों को जल्द राहत मिल सके।
मनाली सर्किट हाउस में आयोजित समीक्षा बैठक में उन्होंने बीआरओ, एनएचएआई, जिला प्रशासन और अन्य विभागों के साथ आपदा प्रबंधन, पुनर्निर्माण कार्य और प्रभावित परिवारों के पुनर्वास पर चर्चा की। मंत्री ने सभी विभागों को राहत और पुनर्वास कार्यों में तेजी लाने के निर्देश दिए।
सावित्री ठाकुर ने बताया कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने मृतकों के परिजनों को ₹2 लाख और गंभीर रूप से घायलों को ₹50,000 की अनुग्रह राशि देने की घोषणा की है। उन्होंने आश्वासन दिया कि आपदा में हुए नुकसान की विस्तृत रिपोर्ट शीघ्र ही प्रधानमंत्री तक पहुंचाई जाएगी।

Union Minister of State for Women and Child Development Savitri Thakur visited disaster-affected areas of Manali, Banjar, and Sainj. She interacted with local residents of Old Manali, especially near Nalsu and Manalsu stream, and assured them that “Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself is deeply concerned about this disaster and the Central Government is fully committed to supporting rehabilitation and relief work.”
She also inspected villages like Solang, Palchang, Samahad, and Bahang, which were badly hit by flash floods and cloudbursts. The Border Roads Organisation (BRO) and NHAI are working continuously to restore damaged roads and ensure smooth connectivity.
At a review meeting held in Manali Circuit House, the minister discussed damage assessment, reconstruction works, and rehabilitation efforts with BRO, NHAI, district administration, and other officials. She instructed authorities to speed up relief operations.
Thakur further informed that PM Narendra Modi has announced ₹2 lakh each for the kin of the deceased and ₹50,000 for the seriously injured. She added that a detailed report on the losses will soon be submitted to the Prime Minister.
