हिमाचल प्रदेश सरकार द्वारा प्रस्तुत की गई जॉब ट्रेनी पॉलिसी राज्य के युवाओं के बीच गहरी नाराजगी और असंतोष का कारण बनती जा रही है। जहां सत्तारूढ़ दल की छात्र इकाइयां इसका समर्थन कर रही हैं, वहीं दूसरी ओर भाजपा, बेरोज़गार संगठन और सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता इस नीति को युवाओं के साथ छल और धोखा बता रहे हैं।
सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता सृजन झामटा ने इस नीति की तीखी आलोचना करते हुए कहा कि यह सरकार का सबसे बड़ा धोखा है। उन्होंने कहा, “सरकार ने युवाओं से एक लाख नौकरियों का वादा किया था, लेकिन अब नौकरियों को समाप्त करने का तरीका अपनाया जा रहा है।” उन्होंने यह भी आरोप लगाया कि सरकार बीते ढाई वर्षों में कितनी भर्तियां निकालीं, यह बताने से बच रही है।
झामटा ने कहा कि दो साल की ट्रेनिंग के नाम पर युवाओं से सस्ती मजदूरी ली जा रही है, और अंत में कोई स्थायी नियुक्ति की गारंटी नहीं दी गई। उन्होंने चेतावनी दी कि यदि सरकार इस नीति को रद्द नहीं करती, तो राज्यभर के युवा सड़क और सदन दोनों में आंदोलन के लिए बाध्य होंगे।

The recently announced Job Trainee Policy by the Himachal Pradesh government has stirred significant controversy and discontent among the youth. While the student wings of the ruling party have extended their support, opposition leaders, unemployed youth, and social activists have termed the policy a betrayal of the unemployed.
Social activist Srujan Jhanta slammed the policy, calling it “a calculated deceit” against over 12 lakh unemployed youth in the state. “The government had promised one lakh jobs, but instead, they are ending the existing opportunities,” he said.
Jhanta questioned the government on how many recruitment processes have actually been conducted in the past two and a half years. He added that under the guise of a two-year training period, the government is taking cheap labor from youth with no assurance of permanent employment.
He demanded an immediate rollback of this policy, warning that the youth would not hesitate to take their protest to the streets and the Assembly if their concerns are ignored.
