ऊना, 7 अगस्त। वित्तीय समावेशन और केवाईसी जागरूकता को बढ़ावा देने के उद्देश्य से पंजाब नेशनल बैंक की अम्ब और भरवाईं शाखाओं द्वारा ग्राम पंचायत लोअर अंदौरा और किन्नू में राष्ट्रीय अभियान के तहत विशेष शिविर आयोजित किए गए।
लोअर अंदौरा में आयोजित शिविर में लगभग 75 लोगों ने भाग लिया, जिनमें से 45 लोगों की पुनः ई-केवाईसी की प्रक्रिया पूर्ण की गई। वहीं किन्नू ग्राम पंचायत में हुए शिविर में लगभग 45 लोगों ने भाग लिया, जिनमें 20 लोगों की ई-केवाईसी अपडेट की गई।
कार्यक्रम में भारतीय रिज़र्व बैंक के एलडीओ आशीष सांगरा, पीएनबी जिला अग्रणी कार्यालय से सुमित कुमार, एफएलसी डायरेक्टर आर. के. डोगरा, शाखा प्रबंधक अम्ब अरविंद भारद्वाज और भरवाईं के पीयूष राठौर मौजूद रहे।
शिविर में प्रधानमंत्री जनधन योजना, सामाजिक सुरक्षा योजनाएं, शून्य बैलेंस खाते, और केवाईसी के महत्व पर जानकारी दी गई। पंचायत प्रतिनिधियों ने इस पहल की सराहना करते हुए इसे ग्रामीणों के लिए लाभकारी बताया।
यह जागरूकता अभियान समाज के सभी वर्गों को औपचारिक बैंकिंग व्यवस्था से जोड़ने, नियामक आवश्यकताओं को पूरा करने और वित्तीय समावेशन को मजबूती प्रदान करने की दिशा में एक अहम प्रयास है।
KYC and Financial Inclusion Camps Held in Una Villages
Una, August 7 – Under the National Financial Inclusion campaign, Punjab National Bank branches from Amb and Bharwain organized awareness camps in Gram Panchayats Lower Andoura and Kinnu.
The objective was to bring eligible individuals under the formal banking system and promote timely KYC (Know Your Customer) updates. In Lower Andoura, 75 residents participated, with 45 completing their e-KYC updates. In Kinnu, 45 individuals attended and 20 completed re-KYC.
Sumit Kumar from the PNB District Lead Office informed that guidance was provided on opening zero-balance accounts under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana and completing re-KYC for existing customers.
RBI’s Lead District Officer Ashish Sangra, FLC Director R.K. Dogra, Branch Managers Arvind Bhardwaj (Amb) and Piyush Rathore (Bharwain) were present.
Local leaders appreciated the initiative as beneficial for rural residents. The camps aim to deepen financial inclusion, meet regulatory standards, and ensure uninterrupted banking access for all.
